World's Most Dangerous Dad by denverpopcorn
Review by JaimeArkin

Rating: M
Genre: Romance/Humor
Characters: Edward & Bella

Summary: Edward Cullen leads a double life: Doting dad and devoted husband by day, special-op Navy SEAL by night. What happens when the government's number one gun is forced to balance work and diapers? Life's a bitch and then you kill someone. E/B, vignettes.

It’s no secret that I adore denverpopcorn’s writing, I fell in love with her reading her first story, drift, and everything that has followed has been just as wonderful. World’s Most Dangerous Dad is something a bit different, a short series of vignettes she wrote initially for her friends. If you haven’t read anything by denverpopcorn, I will tell you this, she has incredible storytelling abilities and this story is a lot of cute, a lot of funny and a lot sweet.

The first chapter started out with a bang… literally. Edward and Bella are married… with kids. So sneaking in a little bit of naughty when time allows is definitely a must … until life interrupts.

"Fucking, Renee."

"Ignore it," she says, with her mouth half under a pillow. Edward, having not really heard her through his own grunting, decides that's exactly what his wife is saying between her moans.

She's under him, belly-down, and he's thrusting slowly, making sure his body slides on every pass. He's close and Bella's hand, snaking its way under her body to rock 'the little man in the boat', tells him she's close, too.

Nothing feels as good as his wife under him. He can forget the outside world, the dangerous, unapologetic world, while he's rubbing up inside his wife, the mother of his...

The phone rings again and he can't help curse out another, "Fucking, Renee." But in his state it comes out breathy, like it would be a pleasure to fuck his...

"Stop...saying...that," gasps the voice under the pillow. He uncovers a smile under the ponytail stuck to her cheek with sweat. He kisses the side of her mouth.

A few more passes, he thinks.

There's stirring in his belly, and there's stirring from the other side of the baby monitor.

Oh no. Not now.

"The baby," she says, rising.

Don't get up, my honeypot. Don't...

"Edward, the baby's waking up."

A few more grunts; his eyes are closed. When he was younger, he'd have been done and in the other room with the baby by now, but he's older, he found a gray hair on his chest the other day telling him so. He wants to blame work, but maybe he's simply getting old.

"Edward," she pushes her ass up, forcing him to lift on his forearms.

Ass up, just like on his birthday.

But it's too late, she's pushed him off completely, mid-coitus, and it hurts like a son of a bitch. He's a stoic man and can take more pain than the average heavyweight. His breathing is laborious and his jaw is clenched tightly. He's on his back, forearm over his eyes, while the sounds of his wife walking around and pulling clothes out of a drawer take up head space.

His dick is steel in the forge, his hand moves toward it.

"Don't you dare!" she says. "If I go without, you go without." She throws a pair of boxers on him. "Get up. You have to get a haircut today, come with me to Home Depot, pick up my mom, and then I'll need you to go to the grocery store. The school wants Anthony to bring cupcakes again..."

Edward has a secret, one he keeps from his family and friends. He’s a Navy Seal, a top-secret agent, but he’s also a husband and a dad with a ‘honey do’ list. The juxtaposition of these two big elements of his life make up this story and it’s done in a wonderful way. This story is only 3 chapters in at the time of writing this, but I promise you will enjoy each one of them. From a cockblock, to a teen daughters prom drama to the story of how they came to be, this promises to be another wonderful story from the incredibly talented denverpopcorn.

Rosebud by Arabella's
Review by JaimeArkin

Rating: M
Genre: Romance/Mystery, AH
Characters: Edward/Bella

Summary: Millionaire Edward fell quickly for small town Bella, and their dreamy romance soon led to wedding bells. When their new marriage is about to fall apart, Bella goes missing. Edward is determined to search for her, but does Bella want to be found? AU-Human

When my co-collaborator, phoebes.promise, rec’d Rosebud to me I was immediately hooked on this creative, mysterious story. Arabella’s intriguing storytelling and unique plot leaves you breathless and anxious for more.

From the open we learn Edward Cullen’s wife is missing, however there are no leads, no answers. We agonize along with our hero as he painfully wonders and worries...

Thank you, Steve...In more somber news, the wife of prominent millionaire Edward Cullen has been reported missing. Twenty-year-old Isabella Cullen was last seen at the couple's Seattle estate on Saturday night.

An anonymous source with ties to Isabella told us that marital problems and even talks of divorce had recently been going on between the newlyweds. However, our source stressed that it was not Isabella Cullen who initiated these talks. What is most alarming is the fact that no luggage or possessions seem to have been taken from the house upon Isabella's departure. Only her black Audi convertible is missing. Police are trying to determine whether heartbreak is the cause of the sudden fleeing, or if something more sinister is at work. If anyone is aware of Isabella's whereabouts, please call police or Channel -

I flick off the TV, carelessly sliding the remote across the hardwood floor.

My disheveled hair is pulled roughly as one thought repeats inside my pounding head.

Oh, my Isabella...where are you?

Through a series of flashbacks and present point of view, we quickly learn of a timeless, whirlwind romance. Edward is a handsome millionaire, Bella is the beautiful waitress he falls in love with. But as the story moves forward we realize something has gone very wrong. They are in the midst of a divorce but we aren't privy yet to the nature of the trouble as they still appear obviously, deeply in love...

"Why won't you take your share?" he asks quietly, sounding offended. He has not moved from the entryway, and I have barely breathed.

"Are you trying to hurt me? Villainize me? I just don't understand."

"No..." I murmur disbelievingly. How can he think that?

"I didn't earn any of that money, Edward. I didn't buy this house. You should keep it."

"I want you to have it. I'd never be able to live with myself if I left you with nothing."

I glare at him.

"Oh I get it. Poor Bella, right?" I ask mockingly, my voice picking up volume. My elevated height from the steps must be giving me an added boost of confidence.

"Poor wrong-side-of-the-tracks, diner fucking Bella! Well fuck you, Cullen! I don't want your charity."

I have always tried to hide my swearing and other unladylike traits from him, but there really is no point now. Edward doesn't try to mask the shock on his face as he silently stares at me in wonder. When he finally snaps out of his stupor, he walks over to where I've crumpled myself on the stairs. The polished surface of the stone step is cold against my skin, like most of the house.

"Please just talk to me," he pleads above me. I look down at my buffed fingernails so I can avoid his towering form. I can't stand his soft, gentle tone. I'd rather he yelled at me. He's never yelled at me.

"There's nothing to say," I mumble, my previous strength completely absent. It's a complete lie. We could probably write a book with all the things we need to tell each other. But I won't let myself feel guilty. If he really wanted to talk, he would not have hired the intermediaries tonight. "Please just go."

He hesitates, then I stare at his shined, brown leather shoes as he walks to the door. From my low viewpoint, I can see that the sun is still shining when he opens it. It makes me angry. The sun doesn't deserve to shine when my world is falling apart.

Edward's feet have paused at the doorway, waiting. He's still here. I finally force myself to look up. His hair is a mess of auburn, as if a thousand hands have run through it within the last minute.

"I'm sorry," he whispers.

My voice refuses to work.

I'm sorry, too,I try to show.

I love you, his eyes say.

I love you more.

Edward shuffles his Italian leather against the hardwood. Emerald irises are still glowing into mine.

Don't ask me to leave.

I already did.

Arabella's captures the emotions of her characters brilliantly and with very few words. The mystery surrounding Bella's disappearance is so captivating. Is it possible she left of her own accord or was she forced... by someone, somehow? Edward is convinced of the latter...

"I found Benny in our room, and I don't think she would willingly leave without him. Her father gave this to her."

"Maybe Isabella just forgot to bring him, in her rush?" he guesses tiredly. He doesn't understand.

"No!" I exclaim, holding Benny up with my left arm. My frustration is being fed by my shattered nerves, my shattered reality.

"She loves this fucking bear. She wouldn't just leave him behind. I knew that she wouldn't leave without saying goodbye. Maybe this means that she didn't want to go. Maybe - "

My favorite fics leave me thinking and feeling, they pull me, they intrigue me with their plot. Rosebud by Arabella's does all of that and more. It is a creatively told story, well written, leaving a solid mystery for us to piece and solve. The updates are wonderfully consistent and at only 12 chapters, you don't want to miss a clue to this fabulous mystery...

Slaves to the Moon by Skeezon
Review by JaimeArkin
*This Story is No Longer Available*

Rating: M
Genre: Hurt/Comfort/Romance
Characters: Edward/Bella

Summary: Self-destructive Bella is barely existing when she encounters a troubled, tattooed Edward. They share a past she can't remember and a love he can't forget. Join them as they find each other and escape the hell that follows.

I discovered this beautifully told story completely by chance. I was immediately intrigued with Skeezon’s summary and once I read the first chapter I was addicted.  I crave a good mystery, a tale that keeps me guessing, suspicious of each new character, curious of every plot turn. Skeezon masters this well in Slaves to the Moon.

As it opens, we're introduced to a troubled Bella and a complicated Edward. Skeezon created sympathetic, layered characterizations that leave you wanting to know more about their past and motivations.

Edward leaned in to her soothing touch, feeling odd yet familiar somehow. Their eyes, locked on each other in a battle for understanding, held firm. Their breathing had become unknowingly synchronized. He felt the need to say something, but feared that it would end this ethereal moment they existed in.

"I'm Edward," he said softly, pointing to his own chest.

"Bella," she replied, almost smiling.

A long, silent moment stretched between them. It remained comfortable and unsettling. Edward's brows dipped in confusion, consideration and finally, remembrance.

"Isabella Swan?" Edward asked, his pulse racing now.

Bella, not hearing that name for so long, dropped her hand and looked down at her shoes. She didn't associate with that girl anymore, she hadn't for years. How did he know?

"I used to be," she answered, her defenses immediately at the ready. Her legs itched to flee.

"I thought you were dead," he whispered.

As we witness their meeting, it's evident this isn't the first time. We learn that Edward and Bella knew each other in what she might consider another life. They share a past, sweet milestones of youth. The relationship they once knew was ended when devastation struck and Bella was forced to move away with her father... And so begins her life altering trauma.

Skeezon’s writing is gorgeous. Her characters, emotions and images are vivid and conveyed strongly through her words. She mixes the significant past details with the present. Glimpses of their youth, Edward's love for Bella seemed like a lifetime between the painful reality of the present. Tragically, Bella is void of any past memory. Some of the most poignant passages occur as he share's that history with her...

"Tell me something that only I would know."

Her statement, taken out of context wouldn't make any sense in normal conversation, but Edward knew exactly what she meant. He looked into her shining brown eyes and thought it over. Memories flooded his mind and he scrolled through them quickly, finding the perfect one to share.

"I saved you from drowning once. We were out behind my house, walking near the riverbank, when you tripped and fell in. You were always really clumsy, so at first I didn't even think twice about it. You must have hit your head or something on the way in, because I waited a few seconds for you to come up, but you never did. I panicked and jumped in after you, somehow finding your arm beneath the water. The water was freezing and I struggled for a few minutes to drag you up onto dry land. I yelled at you, but you wouldn't answer. You weren't breathing and your lips were turning blue, so I started giving you CPR. After a few forced breaths, you started choking and sputtering water everywhere. I carried you back into my house and gave you some of my clothes while I threw yours in the dryer. We never told anyone."

Bella wiggled her toes beneath the weight of his leg and smiled.

"How did you know CPR?" she asked.

"My father is a doctor. Dr. Cullen always liked to make me a shining example of his abilities."

"Lucky me," she said.

"Lucky me," he repeated.

A comfortable silence enveloped them. Edward loved how it was so quiet here, nothing to distract them from each other. Bella sighed and looked at the clock on her wall, wondering how much longer she could have with him.

"We got into an argument the next day because you considered the CPR your first kiss and I argued that it was only a medical procedure," Edward continued, chuckling at the memory. "You were so stubborn and driving me crazy. I just had to shut you up."

"How did you?"

"I kissed you and told you that that was your real first kiss. You didn't argue."

As always in life, nothing is smooth or simple. While they learn and discover together again, their individual pasts come back to haunt. How they chose to respond and deal with the outside forces will ultimately define their future. Please don't miss this well constructed plot of mystery within a beautiful and unique Edward and Bella love story. Slaves to the Moon is currently eight chapters in, don't hesitate.

A Whole Lotta Trouble by jacndaniel
Review by JaimeArkin

Rating: M
Genre: Romance
Characters: Edward/Bella

Summary: After graduating from college, Bella makes her way to Vegas so she can marry her childhood sweetheart. An unexpected stop lands her in a lazy little town and on Edward's doorstep. Mechanicward meets Sassella ...Hijinx ensue... AH, OOC

jacdaniel opens her story with a determined Bella detailing her immediate goal in life and love…

The last time I crossed the California state line was 4 years ago. I was driving toward my bright future at San Diego State University. Now, I'm heading in the opposite direction and toward what I believe is the next step in my life. Jake. I'm going to meet Jake in Las Vegas, and I'm going to make all of his dreams come true. I, Bella Swan, am going to marry Jacob Black. That's right, in 8 hours, I will become Mrs. Jacob Black. Except I don't want to be Bella Black. So, maybe he can just become Jacob Swan, because I like my name.

But oh, how quickly our path can change when fate intervenes. In the case of this beautiful Bella hers alters significantly with seven little words…

"What can I do you for, gorgeous?" he asks. And I melt like a popsicle into a puddle of goo at his feet. I think I'm in a whole lotta trouble.

Humor and passion are weaved creatively through this wonderful Edward and Bella love story. jacndaniel has created such addictive and fascinating characters, you will be drawn in and anxious for more. The story maintains alternating points of view as the relationship builds. Edward details a heartbreaking tragedy in his past that makes for a intensely sympathetic character. Bella’s future has obviously taken a turn for new love, in the midst of her personal growth. The lemons are perfectly written, the emotion and desire are quite palpable.

All I can do is nod in response, and I feel him slide into me from behind. I didn't think that sex with Edward could get any better, but then again we have never done it from this angle. Having his hand pressed flat over my heart, while the other arm winds around my waist is like heaven. Even though he is behind me it feels more intimate somehow. My hand reaches down to touch him where we are joined, and Edward bites my shoulder.

"Don't stop, Bella. That feels amazing," he pants and pulls me tight against his chest.

I don't stop, and soon I feel the familiar tension low in my belly. It is sweet torture as it builds and builds.

"Let go, baby girl. Give me everything."

And I do. His words are all it takes to push me over the edge.

The lovers undoubtedly face personal demons and must overcome obstacles and distance on their journey. Your heart will be hoping and wishing for the sweetest happily ever after. jacndaniel, personally is the kindest soul, this is exemplified through her compassionate writing. Whole Lotta Trouble is a work in progress at eighteen chapters and a story that you should start now…you won’t regret it!

Sexy Silk by jlho
Review by JaimeArkin

Rating: M
Genre: Humor/Romance
Characters: Edward/ Bella

Summary: Bella is a smart mouthed, celebrity hating P.A. to a Hollywood Stylist. Edward is an arrogant Hollywood playboy. What happens when their paths cross on the night of the Globes? Rated M for swears and lemons.

I’ll be honest… I discovered this sexy story completely by accident. And I’m deliciously thrilled that I did. The beauty of Sexy Silk by the lovely and talented jlho lies in the fact that it doesn’t take itself too seriously. I know it’s not always popular to admit that angst and sorrow aren’t always what I crave, but that I also appreciate a fic that makes me smile and giggle, and well that’s just down right hot.

Told mostly from Bella’s point of view, we experience her life as a PA for a Hollywood stylist who just happens to dress the fabulously famous Edward Cullen. Did I mention she really despises typical Hollywood personas?

He was the epitome of sex. The trademark copper hair tousled and damp, fell into his fierce green eyesand distinguished jawline held the tiniest bit of stubble. His body completely tight and toned. A well sculpted chest and arms mocked me from the next story.

Please don't let me be drooling.

"Bella! Nice to see you again. How are you beautiful? It's been too long," He remarked, walking to the bottom landing to join me.

Not long enough apparently.

"Entirely, too long." I replied, trying to focus on his reputation rather than his billboard body.

I was sure I was starring; I was just hoping my mouth was closed.

The lemonade in this story is succulent and wonderful. Jlho dives right in as we get a little treat in chapter one...

"You're going to be the death of me Bella," he said huskily into my neck while kissing down it.

His kisses became more urgent as he backed me up against the wall. His body pressed against mine his cock at full attention straining the fine fabric of the custom suit, hitting me just above where I really wanted it. Our hands were everywhere, in a frantic tangled mess and our breathing increased.

He started grinding into me. My girl parts were cheering like they had finally gotten rain after a year long drought. I returned the motions, trying to ignore that my vag could have passed for a slip n slide for his dick.

His eyes closed tightly and his movement stilled.

"Why'd you stop?"

"Because, I want to bury my cock inside you and pound the fuck out of you until you can't think straight."

"Oh," This was worth stopping? He closed his eyes and pinched them shut.

"You have to tell me," he demanded, reopening his eyes, "if this is what you want."

He looked really vulnerable suddenly, his green eyes fluctuating between desire and uncertainty. Why? Did he think I was going to say no?

"I want you, Edward," I whispered. My hoo-ha more like pleaded.

His mouth attacked mine again and my dress flew up over my head and onto the floor, and my doused panties joined it. I kicked off my shoes and I could hear a belt clacking and a zipper go down while I continued to kiss him.

I looked down, not wanting to miss a glimpse of the reported undefeated champion of peens. The rumor didn't do that huge slice of heaven justice.

"See something you like?" he smirked, echoing his question from earlier.

"Hell yes!" I blurted out, unable to stop my face from flushing more.

In seconds I was back against the wall with my legs wrapped around his waist and he was pushing his way inside me.

Indulge your inner movie star fantasy with this delightfully naughty, humorous and well written hidden gem by Jlho. At only six chapters, you’ll definitely *ahem* be begging for more.

The Companion by SamRosey
Review by JaimeArkin and Phoebes.Promise

Rating: M
Genre: Romance
Characters: Edward/Bella

Summary: Need. Want. Desire. Bella thinks the best way to fulfill these things is to become a Companion. 'A guild of professional courtesans/entertainers.' A girl with a big heart, she craves it all but she's impatient, ready to play. AH. Edward and Bella.

The existence of this incredible storytelling is truly a gift to fan fiction. As lovers of unique, rich and sensual tales… The Companion by the talented samrosey fills every desire and more.

The story opens with an explanation, a definition of sorts… Our beautiful, cultured and curious heroine, Bella Swan listens along… learning the very components of such an arrangement.

A Companion is a skilled, well-educated and well-respected member of a guild of professional courtesans/entertainers, somewhat similar to oiran. While they do frequently engage in a form of state-sanctioned prostitution, they are nonetheless treated with a great deal of respect and deference from nearly everyone, though non-guild prostitutes are generally treated in the reverse, even if they are former Guild members.

Bella’s colorful, knowing friend, Zafrina runs just such a business. Bella, desperate and longing for a connection is quite intrigued, willing and honest that this is something to try. While her first match is hopelessly unpleasant, we are graced with the likes of the mysterious Edward Cullen on Bella’s second attempt. The attraction immediate, the desire undeniable.

For Edward, the appeal to the arrangement is the distance he’s allowed, emotionally, personally. This is difficult, confusing for Bella, initially. The boundaries and rules not clearly defined. And with physical pull so intense… lines blur.

"Please don't. I don't know what I'm doing clearly. I mean I do know what I'm doing but… you know what I mean. This..." She placed her palm on the window in front of her. "It's just different. I don't know the rules."

"There are none."

"You say that but I feel like I need some. I feel as if nobody has told me the secret. And you're just there, walking into my gallery telling me exactly what you want…well I'm here."

"And what do you want?" He walked over and stood behind her, hand in her hair, he pulled it back making ways to her neck, her face so he could see. She shivered at his touch.

"I think you know."

"Tell me…"

The journey into samrosey’s sensual vision is as beautiful as it is lyrical. Her imagination is captured by phrasing unique and wonderful. Losing yourself in these gorgeous lovers fantasy world of discovery is pure reading bliss. You’ll hover in voyeuristic style as private moments, thoughts and deeds unfold around you. The story is rich and sensual and perfectly told.

A precious vulnerability lives within both Edward and Bella. Wants, needs, avoidance, denial all a heady mix as new experiences run headlong into old wounds.

"I knew that at some point this might make me feel like a whore but you, one minute you're on another level, trying to reach up to me, telling me to look in the fucking mirror giving it all something bigger than I imagined and the next you're treating me like a... like a..."

"Like someone I just want to fuck! You knew that already, didn't you?" He waits. "Didn't you? Say it!"

Her eyes darker than the night, staring emotions and fighting this. Fighting even though she knows she will regret an ending. An ending to him and being his Companion.

"Aren't I?"

"Yes, that's exactly what you are, and I for you."

His face tries to tell her this isn't something to be giddy about, dates and candy shaped hearts, someone to tell your mother about and she feels it, the look on his face, what he's saying.

Stranger man.

"Jesus, I don't want your fucking soul Edward, but I need words, despite what arrangement we may have, you don't say when and I can walk away any time I like…equals."

"Goodbye then."

Hot, carnal, sensual loving is peppered throughout, so eloquently detailed. You’ll lose yourself in the lustful pleasure unfolding. Their sex so intense and driven you forget completely the fragility of their emotional connection.

Cheek to her cheek, he inhales her scent, scent of this woman in front of him, closing his eyes. Feeling him breathing against her, smelling her, it's so sensual she feels light-headed, it's intoxicating. Lips at her ear, she thinks he's going to speak, instead he takes skin, soft and sensitive with his teeth, gentle and licks, she moans. It's unexpected and she never knew that would feel so... so fucking good, and he does it again, sucking, she grips him, the sides of him, steady.

Edward moves to her neck, skin he knows will push her, no kisses here, lips she feels then teeth. It's wet. He bites down but it doesn't hurt, it's scraping and he's moving them across her neck and it's divine. Legs tremble, weak with want. All of her, she tingles for him, she's wound and wet and ready for anything.

Realizing how hard she's digging her nails into his skin, she drops her hands and goes for the front of his jeans. Popping the top button, he pulls away. She thinks he's going to object maybe, tell her to wait but he suffocates her with his mouth, intake of breath to catch. Clumsy fingers, she pops another button. Tongue, lots of tongue, she gives and he takes, he pulls on her lips and sucks, she takes. Until she starts to push his jeans down, breaking their kiss.

She steps back a little, he drops his hand letting her hair fall, she meets his eyes and tucks her fingers under his boxers, continuing to push them both down.

She bends to meet herself and comes face to face with him, hard, full, hard and oh... She stands and he steps out of his clothes, kicking them to the side.

"Show me?"

Show you what? She doesn't know what he means.

She doesn't know and doesn't wait, she pushes up against him, taking him in her hand, between them, tight she grips him and begins to move. Slow at first, small gasps he makes.

"Wait."

"What?"

He pulls at her dress, and pulls his bottom lip into his mouth, teeth, he bites. It's sexy and carnal. He wants to tear it off her body. He wants to feel her body against his while she makes him come.

Taking the sides of her dress in his hands he pulls it up, he doesn't take his time, she lifts her arms and it's gone, he drops the dress and puts his arms around her, his fingers trace around her shoulders, fingering the back of her bra, he unclasps it and pulls back, bringing it with him. Her arms out he pulls it down and sees her complete. Nipples, they taunt him, as he looses the bra he leans forward and kisses the top of her breast, and then the other, taking her in his hand he plays and pulls and it hurts in the strangest way. It's pleasure, she wants to cry out but doesn't.

He leaves her wanting more and steps back once again.

"Take off your panties."

Treat your senses, your mind and your soul to the beauty that is The Companion. The fresh plotline is textured with surprise, the setting explodes with delicious detail, the dialogue is so believable and vivid. Samrosey offers you phrases that dance, characters bursting with heightened emotions, primal desires weaved poetically into a sensual love story. As a work in progress, the beautiful words filling only 16 chapters… don’t hesitate.

Summary: AKA The Secret Destruction. FBI Agent Cullen returns to NY to take down the Draconi crime family. But will his return bring more than he bargained for? Or something he never knew he always wanted. Secret missions, love and family secrets abound...and destroy.

Edward is an FBI Agent undercover in New York trying to take down the Draconi crime family. He's been in Romania for two years setting up his cover and only recently returned to NY. Why is that? He's still mourning the loss of his older brother Eric who was killed on 9/11, and also the reason he became an agent. He doesn't have time for a girlfriend, but sees you know who from afar and is enthralled. A series of coincidences bring them together and they turn out to have much more in common than one would have guessed.

But as usual, drama ensues and Bella's past collides with Edward's mission and they are faced with a quandary. Not to mention, Edward is again from a rather prestigious NY family who are of Dutch descent. This ends up being not only a rather inconvenient fact of life, but also plays into his mission. We have intrigue and a who’s behind it run amuck once again and Edward finds himself risking not only his job but his life to protect Bella.

The beautiful Dutch title alone intrigued me as I searched for new stories to read. The translation for The Geheime Vernietiging is "The secret ruining or the secret destruction." This is a mysterious cocktail of sexy secret agent Edward, beautiful, strong Bella and wonderfully textured writing. I was hooked immediately; hooked and have been swooning ever since.

Edward Cullen, a young undercover FBI agent has lived in Romania for the past two years building his covert life. When he finally returns to New York to begin the true task of taking down the Romanian crime family, he meets Bella by chance. Life quickly changes course and purpose. From their first meeting the connection is palpable:

“I looked at him more closely then and realized he was the man with the aviators and the newspaper that Jasper pointed out earlier. The sunglasses were now hooked in his shirt and he had on a Yankees hat covering what appeared to be dark brown, almost black hair. He had a rugged jaw and a strong nose and his lips were full and turned into a crooked grin. His face was scruffy, like he hadn't shaved in a week. I had the sudden urge to trace my fingers over his jaw and let the scruff tickle my…

Trace your fingers over his jaw. What the hell Bella?

I realized I was staring again and he hadn't spoken and I followed his gaze down this time. The ketchup was now set in my dress, right over my left breast.

Shit.

He coughed and shook his head and I realized he still had one hand on my arm. "It's not a problem. I just wanted to make sure you didn't fall." He said in a voice that sent sparks shooting up my spine like they were shot out of a cannon. It was low and smooth like the purr of an engine.

What in the...?

His eyes glanced from me, back to my dress and back up again and I then noticed the heat oozing from his hand through my body, causing a sizzling sensation to skip across my skin and make me so hot that I had the opposite desire to shiver.” Chapter 3

Throughout this incredibly well thought out plot, Amoredjenaue’s writing is vivid, rich and descriptive. Her characterization is so intense, you feel as though you are present in their psyche. You sense the loneliness that Edward has experienced over the last few years, preparing for his secret life, while mourning his brother. Yet, he has a desperate drive to avenge his brother’s death by doing something positive in the world.

Bella, an intern director at the MET, seems inexplicably linked to many of the major players of the same crime family that Edward is infiltrating. She is involved in a newly committed relationship with James. However, Bella is instantly attracted to Edward upon their first official meeting. She quickly begins questioning her decision to move forward with James.

Edward and Bella desperately fight their connection. Edward knows he can’t ask her to wait for him. And Bella knows the danger he could be in if his cover is blown, but their attraction proves to be too much:

"God, I want you, Mijn Zon." He rasped into the kiss.

Then fucking take me? What's holding you back?

"But I am at least going to return the favor." He kissed his way down my body to my center, and my skin was on fire at his touch. I knew this wouldn't take long; I was so completely turned on from pleasuring him that I was sure one touch from his expert fingers would undo me.

Then I felt his hands tug at my panties and lifted. He massaged my calves, my thighs and my hips and pulled me to him.

Oh shit, he's going to taste me. I couldn't remember the last time a man took his time to do that.

I dropped my head back in anticipation and before I knew it his mouth was on me.

"God. Edward!" I cried out as he plunged his tongue into me—licking and simultaneously rubbing my nub. I was moaning at the sensations he was sending through my body, and I gripped his hair and pulled him to me tighter.

He responded by increasing his hold on my hips and plunging his tongue deeper. He alternated between thrusting his tongue and his fingers into me and working my nub. I looked down and saw his head between my legs, pleasuring me with his mouth and another rage of fire shot through my body.

"Oh my God!" I cried out. I was spiraling, faster than a hurricane toward the coast. My legs were shaking, and I gripped his hair ferociously. – Chapter 14

This fantastically complex work in progress is currently at eighteen chapters. It has a seductively eloquent love story weaved through the exciting suspense of true crime mystery. And when Edwards says… “Mijn Zon” or “Mijn Lief” you will be fanning yourself and begging for more. Treat yourself to this addictive, unique delight in story telling.

The White Swan Lodge by jarkin33

Rating: M
Genre: Drama/Romance
Characters: Edward/Bella

Summary: Tragedy led her there. Commitment forced him there. Can a place of beauty and solitude hold the fate they were both seeking…

“The sensation of a light breeze rippled through the tall pine trees surrounding me as if urging me forward. I inhaled the fresh air, wiped my tears, squared my shoulders and took one careful step at a time to the front door and my future.”- Bella

“The cab honked on the street below. I quickly put on my grey hoodie, grabbed my things and locked my front door. When I stepped out into the cool, autumn air, I felt an unfamiliar exhilaration. Something deep in my gut told me this trip could change the aimless path I'd been on for so long.” - Edward

First of all, let me just say this for the prologue...Hot damn... Jaime, you are a little tease but a damn good one at that. So honestly you all don’t even need to read this review, just read the prologue and you’ll be aching for more.

But, this is kind of my job, so I’m going to take a stab at trying to summarize Jaime’s sweet, special touch of the English language into my crazy words.

In the beginning of this story, Bella is a photographer in Arizona when life throws her a wicked curve ball, leaving her motherless. But, this curve ball also gives her a new opportunity to escape her blasé life in Phoenix, because she inherits a nature lodge to run near her old hometown of Forks, Washington.

Then we see our good old Edward packing and getting ready to hit the road for an upcoming assignment. He is a travel critic and is being sent to a lodge in Washington where the owner has recently died and is now under new management. Learning this fact about the lodge makes him reflect on how blasé his life is, as well. He hasn't seen his family in months and every girl he is with is just a good bang. He has nothing to hold on to and he already feels for the poor girl, but knows that he has a job to do. No matter what, he must be critical of the lodge and how the new manager runs it.

This is one of those stories where the stars align for a certain reason and in this case it’s for our dear Bella and lovely Edward to meet. They are both wandering souls on the trail of life, seeking and searching for something still unknown to them.

Edward arrives at the lodge to an unsuspecting Bella and asks if he could please have a place to stay. She has no idea of his intentions and even though she wanted some time to fix up the place, she for some reason can’t seem to tell him no.

“The engine shut off in the black Jeep Cherokee just before the driver side door opened slightly. I moved even closer to the vehicle anticipating who might be inside. The door swung wide open and I noticed a hint of bronze hair. The man suddenly leaned back inside towards the passenger side to grab something; then he finally emerged. I saw a gloriously tall man step out onto the gravel, shut his car door and smile in one fluid motion. My heart raced and my breath hitched. I was quite certain I'd never seen such a handsome face. He pushed the dark sunglasses he was wearing up through his hair revealing the most breathtaking green eyes I'd ever seen. He towered over me; had to be at least 6'2". He was dressed in a worn grey hoodie jacket with a black t-shirt underneath, jeans and a pair of Converse tennis shoes. I forced myself from the spell this man's appearance had me under and spoke first.

"Jake?"

The stranger shook his head. "No, Edward. Sorry for showing up like this. I mean, I don't have a reservation or anything." His voice was like liquid velvet. It was strong, deep and unintentionally sexy.”

The lodge is certainly not ready for guests, so Bella has to make the bed for Edward and for some reason unbeknownst to him, he can’t help but help her.

Even though she should be getting poor marks in his critique, they instead have by far the hottest and most UST filled bed making session in fanfic history.

“Following her lead I fit the final corner. We both reached for the flat sheet at the same time and my hand wrapped around hers. It was delicate, warm and soft; and I didn't want to let go. Her eyes met mine and I could hear her inhale a deep breath. I reactively let go. As we were laying the sheet flat and smoothing out each side, our hands met in the middle, fingertips just barely brushing. I watched her and she watched me. It was the most oddly intimate moment I'd ever had with a woman while fully clothed.”

And that was just a snippet of it....

This tale is going to be filled with lovely awkward moments as Bella and Edward share a beautiful getaway lodge alone for a week and with the UST that has happened in just the few moments of interaction they have had with each other, I can honestly say I am dying to see how it all plays out and I really want to know who attacks who first.

I usually end on a note saying please give this fic a chance, blah, blah, blah, but I decided to part with this lovely note;

“Not able to resist any longer, I pushed open the swinging door and the sight nearly knocked me over. I had to lean against the small counter that housed the espresso machine to brace my weight. The idyllic beauty of the surrounding waterfalls, mountains and lakes be damned. I had a barefoot Bella Swan in front of me… sucking icing off her finger…with her eyes closed in motherfucking ecstasy."

On Grey Mornings by littlesecret84
Rating: M
Genre: Romance/Drama
Characters: Edward/Bella

Summary: Bella's tryst with power made her infamous. Hounded and ashamed, she's back in Forks to start over again, but where do you find a clean slate when everyone who sees you already knows your biggest secret?

This story was another recommendation from my lovely fic angel. Once I began reading this addicting story, I simply couldn’t get enough.

In the first chapter, we are introduced to an outwardly confident Bella and a thoughtful, handsome Edward. Bella likes to think she’s better, bigger and brighter than the little town of Forks where she is spending her summer before grad school. She meets Edward at a party and physically things progress quickly. As her inner truths and fears are revealed, we realize she feels an immediate solace in his presence. It’s a security in his quiet strength that she longs for. Until, the next day when a phone call changes everything and we’re left wondering what is Bella’s true reality.

My actions all define me. And it sucks, but it's not unfair. I'm certainly not innocent. I don't think I ever wanted to be innocent. But this life? I never thought that this would be the price I'd have to pay. – Chapter 1

The story is told from Bella’s point of view. Through her inner monologue we experience her vulnerability and insecurity. littlesecret84 offers a beautifully textured character through her masterful writing. Bella has a disdain for her hometown that is evident in her thoughts. Yet, a life altering experience forces her back there.

Nine months later we find out the truth of her actions and how they’ve affected her life. Her preferred environment and friends appear superficial and detrimental. Her long term lover is also quite complicated and only seems to intensify Bella’s demons. She has no one to honestly confide in and trust. Ultimately, we see that Bella’s history provides her with low expectations.

I think about that night, and I'm blushing, not because of what I did, but because I'm embarrassed of how hopeful I was and how I thought I could spend a summer with a complete stranger just because he was nice to me in bed. – Chapter 3

Bella maintains a love hate relationship with the notoriety that she has. She hates the scrutiny, but she loves to share her story. Edward’s desirable character of beloved small town hero is the antithesis to Bella. He is respected and adored. Upon her return to Forks, she finds herself battling with her desire for him. She uses anger and avoidance as her chosen weapons. Her family dynamics are also stressed and layered in misunderstanding. The relationship she has with her father is often strained, pushing her further into frustration and disgust with her present living situation. Bella does possess guilt for what they have endured at the hand of her disgrace. Emotions are heightened and words are explosive.

littlesecret84, also author of the brilliant Brown Study and Age of Consent, has a writing style that is vivid, captivating and unique. At seven chapters in, the journey into this infamous Bella’s past and present is only just beginning. Enjoy losing yourself in this mature, original and layered plot with its rich and believable characters.

The Publishing Rack by bicoastaltwigals
http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6298980/1/The_Publishing_Rack
Review by JaimeArkin

Rating: M
Genre: Romance/Humor
Characters: Edward/Bella

Summary: Edward is caught in a downward spiral while Bella is dead set on climbing her way to the top. Can they find common ground? A collaboration from TwiReaderAbi & ImwithPattz. Rated M for Lemons cuz that's what you really want , drug use, language, etc.

The Publishing Rack is a joint venture between TwireaderAbi and ImwithPattz. Honestly I came across this fic when a tweet came out stating that whoever reviewed first got a prize... Bribing works wonders for me.. just saying. After reading the first chapter I was so happy I clicked I can't even explain it. This story certainly doesn't take itself seriously and I love that about it. Now, don't get me wrong. I'm just as much of an angst h00r as the next reader, but I like funny fics too! I always get asked to rec a story that isn't angsty and is kind of lighthearted and this fits the bill!

"Determined, I looked determined. I hoped I didn't look constipated. Gosh, did this furrowed brow thing I was trying make me look constipated? Constipation isn't a laughing matter, but when you're aiming to look serious and authoritative, well, it's just not going to garner the esteem you're working towards. Great googley moogley. I ditched the serious/constipated look and settled for a thin lipped grimace instead. I barreled down the pathway, hurtling myself into Charlotte's cube. " - chapter 1

Bella in this story is so annoyingly weird it's endearing. The best part is that she doesn't think that she's the odd one. She takes her job at Masen Publishing very seriously and is ecstatic when she moves up becoming the Assistant to the CEO. We soon find out that Mr. Masen has a special job for Bella... little does she know that it has nothing to do with publishing. Enter Edward.

Edward is Mr. Masen's son who just graduated from UCLA. He was supposed to start working for the company, but has requested some additional time to 'sow his oats'. We learn very quickly that Edward is going to be trouble for our Bella.

"Who is this girl? I can smell her, see her, taste her on my tongue but there is that oh so fuzzy buzzy feeling like I have never even really met her. She is the "mystery of the day" in the life of C. Edward Masen III. It felt like she was a mirage. If it weren't for the fact that l could smell her and feel the rocking of the bed I would have thought she was a dream, or a manifestation of the myriad of drugs swimming through my blood." - Chapter 2

This is how we're introduced to Edward, after a night of drinking and drugs and eventually hooking up with a girl who he can't even remember the name of, we can see where his priorities lie.

The special assignment that Mr. Masen assigns Bella to do is spy on Edward and give him a daily account as to what he has been up to. Bella's shopping trip to Newton's Outfitters for supplies had me giggling endlessly.

"While there was certainly no shortage of baseball hats, that wasn't the look I was trying to achieve. I needed something that said "international man of mystery." Uh, I mean "woman." Geezoman, I watched too many movies this weekend. At the end of the aisle of baseball hats sat one lone spinning wire rack with only a sprinkling of hats on it. I stood leisurely spinning it, leaned back on one foot, my hip jutted out as my hope of finding something suitable quickly waned. Then I saw it; it wasn't perfect but it certainly had more potential than anything else in Newton's. A red skiing beret. I envisioned it set jauntily on my head while I sat on a park bench pretending to read the newspaper, peering over the top every so often to keep tabs on Mr. Masen's delinquent son. I would be deep undercover, no one would recognize me." - Chapter 3

This is a work in progress... in fact, it just started. Four chapters are posted with more on the way soon I hope. So if you are looking for something lighthearted and fun this is a story for you. Please head on over and give it a read, I promise you won't be disappointed.

Righteous and Wicked by cherry.blossomz

Rating: M
Genre: Romance/Angst
Characters: Edward/Bella

Summary: Bella is a reluctant school teacher, stuck stagnant under a looming shadow from her past. Edward is an architect striving to overcome his vices by running from them. Will they strive for a righteous path, or spiral into wicked depths?

I was recently rec’d Darkness, cherry.blossomz’s first fic by a friend. I read it over one weekend, barely coming up for air. I couldn’t wait to read more from her. As it turned out, she had just started her second story titled, Righteous and Wicked. The title alone intrigued me, and once I began reading, I couldn’t stop. The writing has a beautiful and unique cadence to it. The short views into the lives of Bella and Edward alternate throughout the well-formed chapters. cherry.blossomz’s work is rich with unique symbolism and descriptive imagery. She successfully takes her readers on a mysterious, UST filled journey of the most wicked kind.

Edward and Bella are obviously and painfully flawed. Bella lives what might be considered a mundane, lonely existence as an elementary school teacher at a Catholic girls school. She seems to be barely tolerating her job and life… simply going through the motions of existence. A painful past has been alluded to, but the details remain a mystery.

“She sleeps, she wakes, she works. She sleeps, she wakes, she works. She looks in the mirror and wonders who it is that is staring back at her, and remembers the person she once saw there. A full heart. A hand to hold. A future and a room to paint. She wakes, she works, she sleeps…alone.” - Chapter 1

Edward is Bella’s enigmatic new neighbor, having grown up in Forks, has now returned to build a house next door to Bella.

“He wonders if the choice he has made is the right one, but will allow himself to feel no regret. He gets into a limousine and stares out the window at the endless, blurry green. I'm not running, I'm moving on. He lies to himself and he believes the lie.” – Chapter 1

Edward’s demons are obvious from the beginning. If Bella is the Righteous one, you are left to assume that Edward is the Wicked one. And wicked he shall be... from eyeing up his friends fiancé (Rosalie) to using a woman at a nightclub. As layers of the story are slowly peeled away, we realize while he may have company, he is truly lonely.

“His uncontrollable fury spreads through his body and leaks from his pores. He begins to sweat and it drips on the girls breasts. Her legs wrap around him, and her back slams against the stall door. "Oh, fuck me…fuck me…"she chants. The door creaks and threatens to burst open against the weight of Edward's violent thrusts. He reaches up and grips the top of the door for leverage, and holds tightly to the girl's thigh. He pumps even harder now. She tells him to go slow, but he doesn't. She says she's going to come and he doesn't care. He feels himself coiling up inside, and he knows the end is near. His mouth waters in anticipation of the few moments of real pleasure—the delusional bliss that comes with his release.

The only time he really feels alive.

"Fuck," he curses and groans loudly as he comes, then quickly sets her down. The girl pulls her skirt into place and he buckles his belt. They both catch their breath. She holds his face. She tries to be tender. She wants to kiss him and he pulls away. He has no more need for her. She doesn't ask for his phone number. He doesn't look at her or say goodbye as he walks out the bathroom door.”: - Chapter 2

Bella is desperately drawn to Edward, this man she refers to as Stormy Eyes. Edward’s character appears as the antithesis to hers. Secretly searching for him, she listens to his lustful interactions. Slowly, Bella finds herself seduced by his hunting and satiation, yet envious of his prey. cherry.blossomz offers her readers incredibly textured characters with depths that are sure to be revealed. Edward is a complicated man whose wants and needs duel within him. Beautiful Bella forces his gentle heart and mind to the surface. With Bella’s past still a mystery, we are left trusting her pure actions as truth of her character. However, hints of her past love and loss are peppered throughout, leaving you pondering her demons as well. Were these two souls brought together by fate or a higher power to help each other heal? And in doing so, will they find everlasting love?

At eight masterful chapters, Righteous and Wicked is a work in Progress. I urge you not miss a moment of this literary journey.

Welcome to the city of Miami.

This fic had me at the summary! Honestly, I found the blog before I found the story and that alone had me hooked! This story is collaboration between AnonyCullen and AnonySwan and once you start reading you won’t want to stop. The blog also has some of the best pic teases I’ve seen in a while!

This is probably one of the hottest fics I have read in a long time. Edward and Bella have no idea who each other is when they first meet, and boy do they *cough* meet…

“Her eyes were closed, her lips were parted, and her breath came in erratic gasps. Her breath was heaven; sweet honey mixed with a few remnants of the aged tequila she had been sipping. Sweat gathered on her skin, sliding our bodies beautifully together, dampening the sheets.” - Chapter 1

On the eve of her divorce from Mike Newton, her high school sweetheart turned high profile television personality; Bella meets Edward at a club where she’s out celebrating with friends. From the get-go Edward is a total asshole, condescending and rude, but what Bella doesn’t know is that he is Miami’s most sought after divorce lawyer… whom her ex has hired. After fleeing his house on the beach she finds out just who Edward Cullen is:

“His gaze burned through me as he realized who I was. For a second, I saw his eyes widen, and then a small smirk appeared out of the corner of his mouth, his lips twitched just a hint. His eyebrow arched slightly as I watched him look me up and down. Unconsciously, I tried to smooth out my clothes and tame my hair.
Fuck. I'm still in the same outfit from last night. And he fucking knows it.”
Chapter 2

I will be honest, I love this Edward. He’s a prick, an asshole and he knows it and doesn’t care. He purposely fucks with Bella to get a reaction out of her and assert his status and dominance. He is used to getting exactly what he wants, when he wants it and that includes Bella. For some reason he is drawn to her and no matter how badly he treats her, she can’t seem to stay away.

“I hated every fiber of his being. I loathed his beautifully sculpted face and his tempting lips. The way his body seemed to press perfectly against mine in the water. The way his breath heaved in a disorderly motion pushing his chest lower to mine. The way his hands felt on either side of my head, pinning me to the edge of the tub. I hated him. Fucking hated him. Hated every fucking inch of him.” – Chapter 5

So far, we don’t know much about Edward or his story, we get glimpses behind the exterior shell he shows the world, but they are brief. I certainly can’t wait to find out the rest of his story. The anger, dominance and sexual tension between these two are going to make for some interesting chapters ahead. The supporting characters in this story are wonderful too. Alice is Bella’s fresh out of law school lawyer, taking on the big bad Edward Cullen. I can’t wait for the fireworks in court! So please, head over and read this fic, you won’t be disappointed... I promise! Real life for the authors forced this to be put on hold for a bit, but it’s only five chapters and 2 outtakes in, and I have it on good authority that an update will be coming soon! So go read and get caught up now!

Voice For Me by PashasPickMeUp
http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5896974/1/Voice_For_Me
Reviewed by JaimeArkin

Summary: Bella and Edward come from two different worlds; one of silence and one of sound. Fiesty Bella starts school at Forks High and turns jaded Edward's world upside down. Can they find their own voice through true love?

Bella lives in a world of silence. She’s hearing impaired and her parents have decided to take her from the school she has attended her whole life and place her in Forks High School where she is the only hearing impaired student. Quickly we realize that this is not going to be an easy transition for her whether it’s the gawking students or the stubbornness of teachers, she has to figure out a way to make it work. We quickly meet Alice and her brother Edward. Alice, as Bella’s interpreter, tries to make everything as easy as possible and they become fast friends.

Very quickly the Cullen family and more specifically Edward, become immersed in lessons in understanding a different culture and learning to accept differences. In this story, Edward has to fight for Bella’s respect, which I really enjoy. He doesn’t just automatically get the girl. We get the story mainly from Edward’s POV and we experience the difficulty that he goes through trying to understand and adjust to make room for Bella in his life. He certainly starts out as a cynical, spoiled kid who takes a lot of things for granted but as the chapters progress we see his changes and as a reader I was impressed with his growth. There are a few misunderstandings as can be expected when attempting to mesh two completely different worlds but the best part of this story for me was the realness and the idea that we as readers can learn a thing or two about real life issues while enjoying a wonderful story.

The authors of this story grew up around deaf culture as children of deaf adults so they know what they are writing about and I personally have always found ASL or American Sign Language fascinating. Most of the signs in the chapters are explained so not only can you visualize but if you’re so inclined, learn the signs too! Not only that but we read about the different prejudices and discriminations that the deaf community has experienced and still experiences. It opens your eyes to how cruel some people can be but we also see how loving, accepting and caring people can be and how differences in a relationship can turn your world upside down but in a completely wonderful way. This story is a work in progress and is only sixteen chapters in. I definitely suggest starting it now, if you don’t you are missing out on a touching, wonderful, real story!
