Always Leads Back To You by Dinx
Review by Maxandmo

Rating: M
Genre: Romance/Drama
Characters: Edward/Bella

Summary: Do you believe that 2 people can be made for each other? Bella and Edward tried dating in their teens and again in their 20's, but couldn't get it right. Will fate bring them together again in their 30's? Will they have a chance at a future... together?

This fic starts out with Edward and Bella in the 11th grade, told in Bella's point of view. She is new to the school and Edward is the hot bad boy. He takes notice of her and they start to date. She isn't thrilled by his choice of a best friend, Royce. Edward has loyalty to Royce and it irritates Bella. Their relationship progresses and Bella is ready to take it to the next level; Edward not so much. Royce is bad news, yet Edward refuses to abandon his friend. They get into some trouble and Edward goes away to boarding school leaving Bella in despair.

My brain was on a constant replay of everything that Edward and I had done, remembering everything that he'd ever said. I kept telling myself that he was real, that what I felt for him was real, but he was slipping away. As time progressed, he was fading, I was fading. I was alive, but I wasn't living.

The story jumps six years to find a more mature and responsible Edward. The writer does a great job remaking the characters older. It flows smoothly and leaves you wondering how Bella and Edward will react to each other. This part is told in Edward's point of view.

At a chance meeting they are surprised to see one another. Edward is hell bent on earning her trust back, and Bella is hesitant. She plays it cool leading the readers to wonder how long she can keep it up, or if she really is that blasé about him. What begins with a date, turns into random visits from Bella leading Edward to be confused about her feelings and intentions. He knows what he wants, does Bella?

This is a well written story by a very responsive author. She responds to reviews and is active on Twitter. Her grammar is impeccable and her writing is flawless. You will love Always Leads Back to You!

Summary Bella wakes up to find a penis inside her vagina. Imagine her surprise when she finds out to whom it's attached. Rated M for language and lemons. AU.AH.B/E

So, late one evening last week I stumbled upon this story and of course with a summary like that, I immediately dove in! I have read a few things by this author before so I knew to expect, a well written, witty story but what I got was so much more. I fell in love instantly with this Bella, she is quirky and funny and so real to life. Her inner monologue has me in stitches, laughing out loud and snorting. This Edward is sexy and smart and the banter between characters is phenomenal. We meet Bella as she wakes up on her first full day on Isle Esme after a drunken night where she stumbled to bed. As she wakes up, disoriented, she mistakes the warm body next to her naked one for her ex-boyfriend back home, and as penis meets vagina in a drunken, half-asleep haze, two strangers make hot bedfellows! What ensues after is pure comic fun and as our Bella is exposed to one embarrassing situation after another, a strange camaraderie is born between these two. The story is 4 chapters in and I can’t wait to read more. Here is a taste of what to expect on the Isle of Esme.

"Well, this is embarrassing," I commented.

"Not being able to reach your book or what you wrote in it about my cock?"

Fuck! This was the worst day ever. I wanted to rewind back to the part where I was hungover, warm and comfy in bed, and had Edward moving inside me.

I squeezed my eyes shut and didn't answer. He'd read more than just his name and the title of the entry, apparently. He must have read the ending, too. I hoped that was all he had read.

I brushed the bark off my hands and reached down to grab my drink. I took a big gulp, praying he'd laced it with arsenic like the girly-man murderer he was.

"More embarrassing than when I caught you using the dildo?" he teased, but didn't let up. "More embarrassing than when you had sex with me while I was asleep?" He paused, but unfortunately, there was more. "More embarrassing than falling out of a hammock half-naked?"

I downed another large swallow and shook my head as the beverage burned my throat. "Mmm. Pretty much on par with those," I admitted hoarsely, coming to terms with my mortification and facing it head-on. This wasn't anything new to me, unfortunately. "But if I were to position them on a scatter plot of my humiliation, those would be on the lower end."

If you know anything at all about hmonster4, it’s that she’s retired from writing Edward and Bella centered fics and has moved on to explore other character pairings. However, she came out of her ExB retirement to write a couple of novella’s for the FGB. One such novella is Swear Not By The Moon, and I for one am glad she did it!

March 12, 2005

Bella,

By the time you read this, I'll be far away. I know that this is going to seem abrupt, especially after the past few days and all that we've shared, but it is truly for the best. There are events unfolding which, if I leave now, I can stop. This is the sacrifice I make to protect you, and I would do it a thousand times over to know that you are free from harm.

You will never know how much it pains me to leave you. For decades, I've moved through life, learning, but never stretching or growing. I speak six languages fluently. I went to medical school countless times. I've seen every major city in the world, and they all pale in comparison to the time I've spent with you. I shall carry my memories of our time together with me forever.

Please be safe, and know that wherever you are, you are in my heart.
Edward

Instead of leaving Bella in New Moon, Edward leaves her during Twilight, the day before they would have gone to the meadow for the first time. You know how we all wondered why Alice never saw Bella being hunted by James in Twilight? Well, in hmonster4’s version, Alice actually did have visions of Bella being hunted and tortured by a vampire. And because of that, Edward decides the only way to keep her safe is for all of the Cullen’s to leave Forks. But he doesn’t lie to Bella and he doesn’t just disappear. There’s no leaving Bella alone in the woods and no pathetic, “You don’t want me?’s” Nope, none of that. As you just read above, Edward leaves Bella a note explaining that the Cullen’s are leaving to protect her.

Cut to five years later, Bella is a successful college student who just finished taking her last exam, thus ending her undergraduate career; ready to start the next chapter of her life. With a degree in Cultural Anthropology, Bella has written her senior thesis on the legends of the Quileute Tribe and plans on working at Burke Natural History Museum, helping the curator update some of their Native American exhibits for a year, before applying to grad schools.

Upon returning to her apartment and greeting, Heathcliff, the ghost she believes resides with her; (hmmm…) she finds an envelope that had been slipped under her door. Even after five years she immediately recognizes the elegant script and opens the envelope…

Dropping down on the floor, her legs folding underneath her, Bella hastily rips the envelope wide as she rushes to get to the message inside. There is a card, heavy, like a wedding invitation. A small gold key is taped to the bottom left corner, but she doesn't pay attention to that. All she can see is his writing.

“…I know it is not in your nature, for you are a fighter, but it's time to run. If you refuse to run, you will be dead by the end of this week. This is not said to scare you. It's true; people are already on their way to Seattle. You must move, now.

Take the key attached to this message, and go to your post office. The box number is the last day I saw you, a day I carry with me like a talisman. The box holds more instructions as well as other things you need. Follow those instructions to the letter, do not deviate or our plans will not work. Before you leave your apartment, pack all the cash you have, any medications, and a change of clothes. Take the battery out of your cell phone and leave it in your apartment. Don't think, act. You don't have much time.”

And thus the course of Bella Swan’s life is changed forever. But what was the moment that set it all in motion? Follow Bella as she goes step by step into finding out who wants to kill her and why. Who are all the players involved in trying to save her? What past event in her life actually caused the reaction of her being on the run for her life, and what does she learn about herself and Edward along the way?

Hmonster4’s incredible gift of being a talented author definitely shines through in Swear Not By the Moon. How she can cram mystery, adventure, romance, suspense, and character development into only six chapters and 26,000+ words is a true testament to her talent! Go read Swear Not By The Moon! You’ll love it!

Summary: Some men aren't looking for anything logical. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn." These were the inmates of Alcatraz. But Edward Masen, wrongly accused, just might dare to defy it all.

I have to admit that what first caught my eye about this story is the title. I love Shel Silverstein and everything he represents. The Giving Tree might just be my motto for life. So when I saw there was a FF with the title Where the Sidewalk Ends…Well, I stopped everything and read.

This is not a love story. I repeat – not a love story. It may end up being a love story but I can’t imagine how, and since BHG620 seemingly only updates once monthly, it may be a long time before we see anything resembling a citrus fruit. So if that is what you are looking for, look elsewhere. What this story is – an amazing and unique story line with well developed characters and a mystery to boot! We all love a good mystery, right?

Where the Sidewalk Ends starts off with a newsflash of a murder in the small town of Forks, Washington in 1941.

Forks, Washington: 2:17 A.M on January 30th, three local boys were taken into custody on the Quileute reservation and charged for the murder and intentional desecration of Emily Young, 16. They were identified as members of the upcoming graduating class of Forks High School. It is currently unclear why the boys were on the reservation or why the attack took place.

Among those brought to the county jail were Edward Masen, 18, Eric Yorkie, 17, and Jacob Black, 18. Each was charged with one count of first degree murder, intentional manslaughter of an individual, and one count of kidnapping. The Forks Police Department responded to a call made by a member of the reservation at 2:08 in the morning, who claimed they could hear a young girl screaming deep within the forest surrounding First Beach. There were obvious signs of struggle. Three testimonials confirmed the boys were seen disappearing into the woods several hours prior.

Young had been reported missing by her parents, John and Laura Young, mid-day on January 29th. She was walking back from the reservation's high school after attending a choir rehearsal, but according to her mother, never made it home. Once it grew dark, they called the police.

"She'd never done anything like that before," claimed John Young. "Few behavioral problems, always returned home on time. Immediately we knew something was wrong."

Following an hour long investigation, Young's destroyed body was found beneath a pile of debris collected from a fallen tree several feet away. Her clothing was ripped in various places, her face mauled with a series of deep scratches, and it appeared that she was stabbed repeatedly. Those living near the scene of the crime say they heard no gunshots, although a gun was found next to the body.

After that first paragraph, I was pulled in. We soon learn that all three boys were convicted and sent to various correctional institutions. Edward Masen is sent to Alcatraz. The reader soon learns that Edward is innocent, but we only learn hints of what happened that night and who was really there. Only small snippets of his childhood are discussed and we learn that he was a wild child with a heart. One who loved his family and feels remorse for disappointing them.

Isabella Swan moves to Forks with her Father when he is offered a Chief of Police position. She describes herself as borderline genius and socially defunct. Her inner musings are hilarious and her character is well developed. This is not your typical Bella. They move into the Masen’s former residence after they were run out of town, following their son’s conviction.

Braving the cold, I exited the car and lifted one of the bags, the wind twirling my dress around my legs and threatening my balance. Scowling, I righted myself and took hold of as many items as I could, determined to make the least amount of trips as possible. Charlie came up behind me, holding a stack of crudely labeled cardboard boxes, his perfected smile trying to conceal the grimace he so desperately wished he could show.
I should know. I was trying to do the same. The only difference was, he was almost succeeding. My attempts were only laughable.

"What do you think?" he asked, admiring the front of the house. "It could use some work, but it has a nice foundation. The structure is solid."

I looked back at the house. I didn't see a nice foundation or a solid structure. I saw what may have been a nice house during its glory days, but was now nothing more than a shed intended for horses. Even better, they should've just leveled the house and used it as a nice plot of new land. It had fallen so deeply into disrepair that I didn't see how we would ever patch it up.

"How long has this house been vacant?"

"Four months," Charlie answered, "but they weren't able to maintain the up-keep prior to that, either. The man was a banker. After the Stock Market crash, he didn't have two nickels to rub together. It's been said that once they left, the townspeople attempted to destroy it."

"Well, we gave it our best shot," I said, trying to move back toward the car, spooked. "We came, we saw, we conquered. Or something. Let's go home."

The story really begins when Edward writes a letter home proclaiming his innocence and requesting his family’s assistance in clearing his name. What he doesn’t realize is that his family does not live there anymore. Isabella receives his letter and responds to let him know that his family has moved on. They begin a correspondence and the story begins.

Bronzehairedgirl has such a unique storyline here. Her characters are different, and while she has taken creative license with Alcatraz, she has done an amazing job developing her characters. Isabella is sharp and strong and I enjoyed reading how her mind worked. The reader can feel the defeat in Edward’s inner voice. We want to scream and cry with him when he reads Isabella’s letter telling him his family no longer lives there.

Where the Sidewalk Ends is something different in a fandom with a lot of similar story lines. It is not your typical Edward meets Bella and they fall in love Fan Fiction. The reader is not even sure of a HEA, which in itself is a rarity in our fandom.

Summary: Most of my pleasure comes from controlling them, not f**king them. Edward Cullen should be no exception to this rule. And yet, I can't stop thinking about him." Will Bella get control over Edward? Will Edward submit to her desires? D/S

After reading the description for this story, I knew it was going to be a dom/sub type story, but wasn't really sure how it would play out. Would it have the feel of Masters of the Universe, having that dark 50 Shades of fucked up feel, or would it be something completely different? Well, now that I've read this story, I can say that it is very different and has an original outlook from other BDSM stories I have read.

The story starts out with a description of Bella and telling us how her life was growing up. She was pretty much a loner in high school and the true Bella doesn't really show until she hits college, when she discovers boys and sex. She always felt like she wanted more or was missing something in life. Then this...

Yes, college had been an extremely eye-opening experience for Bella Swan. She never imagined the sexual freedom to be had on a college campus, and the flagrant willingness of her peers to try new things. Bella had many sexual partners during her college years, but she never found them to be gratifying. Something was always missing.

It wasn't until a rendezvous her senior year that she found what was, perhaps, the missing link. The anonymous lover had spanked Bella and spoke demoralizing words to her during their session. But, it wasn't the fact of Bella being treated in such a manner that spurred her on. No, it was the thought of doing those things to another that lit the flames deep inside her.

So, she finishes her studies majoring in child behavior and ends up having a client named Alice. It turns out that Alice has an older brother that just came back to town and happened to drop her off to her appointment one day. Edward rubbed Bella the wrong way (uh...no pun intended) dropping Alice off that morning and that leads to Bella giving him a nickname. Later that night, Bella goes to a club to see if she can hook up with anybody, which to her surprise and by total accident, runs into Edward, who again, rubs her the wrong way, (this time...pun may be intended) and decides that she would like to teach the RPS (Rude Piece of Shit) a thing or two about woman.

"Edward?" I say, pretending I'm unsure of myself. "Can I ask you something?"

"Sure, baby, whatever you want," he says as he continues to kiss down my neck and moves his hands to my tits.

"I've never done this before…"

What? I haven't. I've never brought someone back here with the sole intention of humiliating them.

"And I kind of wanted to try something."

"Mmmm"

The fucker isn't even listening to me. "Can I… oh gosh, I don't know how to ask this… can we, um… tie each other up?" His head jerks up.

Ahhh, he heard that.

What happens next you ask? Well...I think you should read it and find out! Let’s just say you won’t be disappointed if you do. So go enjoy!

Summary: Bella Swan's best friends are determined to get her laid- poor girl needs to loosen up. Vampire Edward Cullen has been a *very* bad boy, and is now paying the price. Warning: very silly. M for so many reasons

When Lori asked if I could review this brand spankin’ new, silly story I readily agreed because the summary instantly grabbed me and had me arching my eyebrow in curiosity. Vampward as a male prostitute? Oh hell yeah I’m definitely intrigued.

So far, it appears Edward has gotten himself into a bit of trouble with our favorite villain, Aro Volturi. So instead of being executed, as we all know is the typical Volturi way, Edward has made a deal – he owes Aro 100 years of servitude at his ‘hen house’, The Pointed Aro, as a sex slave/prostitute/male whore – whatever you want to call him.

So then, of course, there is our lovely Bella, whose friends decide she needs to loosen up so they pay for her to get a “massage” – which of course is not what it’s going to be at all. She just doesn’t know it yet. Just wait till you see what SnowWhiteHeart has done with the girl we love to hate, Ms. Jessica Stanley (*gigglesnort* Oh just wait).

Interview with the Vampwhore is only two chapters in but is full of promise of hilarious and silly scenes. I’m definitely excited to see where she goes next. Our favorite twosome has yet to meet, but I can almost guarantee it’s going to be interesting and hilarious.

If you’re looking for something silly and fun you should definitely give Interview with the Vampwhore a read!

An American Vampire in Chicago by Just4ALE
 http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4948421/1/An_American_Vampire_in_Chicago
Review by anonymouslysufferingfromOCD

Rating: M
Genre: Romance/Drama
Characters: Edward/Bella

Summary: Bella is a business school student when she meets Edward, a PhD student. Is this handsome stranger too good to be true? AU/ Vampires/Humans. My vamps are slightly different from SM's. Winner of two Winter '10 Indie TwiFic Awards! Please R&R, thx.

When I began An American Vampire in Chicago, I will admit I was skeptical, I am a little picky when it comes to Vamp stories, I usually prefer AH when reading my beloved FanFic’s, feeling that I fell in love with these characters the way Stephanie wrote them. It takes a lot to outdo what she wrote. Having said that, I have to say I was really surprised and excited by what Just4Ale did with these characters.

The most important thing to understand about this story is that it is the first part of a series of 4. The initial story is only about 50k words, so it is a pretty quick read.

The story starts off with a 25 year old Bella and to me this is important. While she still has a lot of Bella’s original characteristics, she is older, more mature and more sure of herself. While she has a tendency to live inside her own head, she has friends and a life before Edward enters the picture. She has had experiences, she has traveled around the world and has graduated from college, she is starting her Master’s program and she is excited for it.

When she initially meets Edward she isn’t falling at his feet declaring her eternal love, she takes her time, and he takes his as well.

They meet as she is entering her Karate class, just one of the ways that Bella uses to try to overcome her excessive clumsiness. Edward is instantly attracted to Bella’s scent but not in the Stephanie Meyer I-almost-attack-you-in-the-middle-of-biology-class sort of way. He is able to sense things about her by the scent of her blood and this intrigues him as does his inability to read her mind.

I looked at Edward, whose hand was still out for the shaking. I looked at his hand and then shook it quickly. Immediately, I felt a jolt, almost like an electric current when I touched him. His hand was a bit cold. I looked back up into his eyes… were they green? I hadn't noticed before, although not surprising since I typically didn't stare at people's faces. "Well, it was nice meeting you, Edward."

The vampire’s in this story are unique, they don’t sparkle in the sunlight and they don’t have yellow or red eyes. The best way to describe them is a cross between Twilight, Anne Rice’s Vampire Chronicles and Underworld with a little bit of (a very little bit) True Blood thrown in for good measure. While all of the vampire characters have the talents that they have in SM’s books, they also have other natural talents that all vampires have.

Much like the Bella in SM’s books this Bella is a bit of a danger magnet or more specifically a vampire magnet. Edward isn’t the innocent gentlemanly vampire that we know from Twilight. During his rebellious period, he didn’t just try out what it would be like to drink human blood from the source but he also was a bit of a ladies man.

Bella figures out that Edward is a vampire on her own, she has some experience in reading about vampire lore and is able to put 2 and 2 together pretty quickly. Understanding what he is doesn’t immediately mean that she doesn’t understand the consequences of being with a vampire and it also doesn’t mean that she doesn’t weigh all of her options.

Damn Hollywood movies. Stupid vampire writers, giving away our secrets, even when they lied about them. The Lost Boys twisted the whole invitation rule around to indicate that the humans were left powerless. The funny thing was that Bella actually interpreted it differently… and correctly. I wondered if she also knew that she had to extend this invitation each time in order to maintain the power blockage.

The story is from both POV’s and the author really does articulate both POV’s well. I am always a fan of hearing from Edward but with this one I love to hear from Bella too. We have some great quotes from the original saga but also some great new ones as well:

I realized that he was unnaturally peaceful… and that he was doing it for my benefit. He wanted me to feel at ease but I could sense the concern underlying his tranquil exterior and I was petrified. He held my shoulders and continued to speak quietly. "Bella, please stay calm. Your fear will only make you more attractive to them right now."

So we do have some drama to deal with and James is in this story so you may need to look out for him in the future, but we also have some citrus that makes it all worth while.

It was so different from all of my previous experiences. Her warmth enveloped me. Her energy escalated and sent chills through me. Her eyes were wide, full of love and trust. She was with me fully, body and soul. My body responded… and my fangs… well I managed to keep my erection up and my fangs safely tucked away. Her earlier attentiveness to my needs had allowed me to begin to learn how to make that work.

The ending sets up the next in the series and you will want to read on to follow what happens to these two, I know I did.

I turned off the phone for the rest of the night. And then I went back into the bedroom to hold my girl and watch her sleep.

Smooth Operator by Cullcati

Summary: Edward has a hard on for the local diner girl. His roommate doesn't think he has the balls to pursue her. Can this Smooth Operator get the girl?

"Oh yeah baby, you feel that? You feel how hard you made me?" I chuckled lowly, my grin genuine.

I was winning.

"Mmm. You made me so wet tonight," she said, making my grin deepen into a smirk.

Oh I'm sure I did, baby girl. That's what they all say when I start working my magic.

"Can I put my long, thick cock inside you, baby?" I asked in my most innocent voice. Innocent, yet very naughty-boy-next-door was what I was going for tonight.

"Oh please! YES! Right there!" she quickly replied.

"Oh FUCK YES!" I grinned.

I just hit the jackpot.

"I want all of you." Her voice was mixed with heavy breaths. She was so into this.

"I am ALL IN, baby girl...All mother fucking in." I bit my lip.

I was feeling so lucky tonight.

"Harder," she panted. "Talk to me."

"You want me to really give it to you? You want me to pound you with my thick cock? I'm gonna give it to you so hard, baby." I could hear how wet she was. Her moans were getting louder. I knew it wouldn't take much more.

"Uhhh...Mmmm..." She couldn't even speak, she was so worked up. And understandably so. We had been at this for over 20 minutes already.

"I'm so close to getting mine, baby."

I was going to get it so good in just another second.

She kept moaning, and I threw in a few of my own moans too for good measure.

And then it happened.

I completely lost it. No. I mean. I lost it—ALL. I had gone all in on this online poker bet, and I lost everything.

"FUCK!" I yelled, slamming my fist on the desk in front of me. There goes this week's pay-check.

"Uh Uh UHH AHHH!" and she's done

That's right ladies and gents, our Edward in this story is a phone sex operator. Could you even imagine the amount of business this could generate? That is not even the best part! This is fun, fast paced story that comes to us by a new author giving us a great male perspective because he is one! Edward is living with his best friend, Rosalie, but pining after the lovely waitress, Bella, at an all night dinner that he frequents. He can’t get her out of his mind or dreams and lands himself in some awkward situations, like training a new recruit, Jasper, who Edward takes a disliking to from the start. This story has me in stitches each and every chapter and really plays around with the relationships of the characters in ways I have never seen before. Take Edward and Rose’s relationship friends for years, coworkers, and where does the line of friendship blur? Have no fear this is an ExB story, but in the real world, relationships are complicated and the author does a phenomenal job showing that. There is a great RPOV that was guest written by none other than KiyaRaven author of The Screamers and other great fics.

We watch as Edward fumbles and tries to gain the affections of Bella after a disastrous attempt to ask her out where he is rejected. Alice, also a newbie at the phone company Edward works for, hatches a plan to gain the interest of Bella and Jasper respectfully. Hilarity ensues and as Edward makes progress with Bella a new road block is thrown in his way in the form of her brother, The Man-Bear. Yes...Emmett is Bella’s overbearing cockblocking sibiling. I can’t tell you how much I laugh out loud at this tale of love and obstacles as we watch Edward make one bad decision after another. This is an endearing story with wonderfully written characters 12 chapters in. I would love for you to join me in reading this fun tale of love and friendship and dirty talk! You never know who might answer that phone when you call it could be the Southern Cowboy or the Cable guy. Come on and give it a try!

"Oh, oh cable guy…" I heard another moan. "I have my main channel wide open."

"I need to insert my tool into your channel to get you what you want. Open wide for me, baby. My tool is big and hard." I leaned back in my chair and rubbed my eyes.

So, on a Friday evening, I stumbled across this unexpected gem that had me captivated from chapter one. I had never read a western fic and was very interested from the get go. I must say, it is an action packed ride from the start with some great realistic touches. You feel transported to the Wild West, a time of ruthless Indians and the prospects of a whole new world. We meet the Cullen’s as they make the trek from the east to a sleepy little town in Washington. Towards the end of their journey, they are met with danger and death when they are kidnapped in the middle of the night by a group of savage Indians called the Modocs. This is when the action begins and where Edward meets another captive in the form of a pale, beautiful, scared girl named Bella. Quickly, fearing for his life and that of his family and this strange but captivating girl, Edward formulates a plan for escape.

She awoke with wide eyes and when she saw me, she relaxed. "No screaming," I told her. I removed my hand and cradled her in my arms. "Let's get out of here," I said. I started off in the direction of our old camp, but I felt like I was missing someone. I could see Emmett carrying Rose and Dad and Mom connected by their hands. Bella was still at that rock where Alice had been, just staring at it.

I put Alice down on her feet and told her to run. She did but watched me the whole time as I went back for Bella.

"Bella, look at me." She didn't. "Bella, we need to get out of here. Come on." She still ignored me. "I won't go without you," I said. This made her look up. Her eyes were brimming with tears and I could see the ghosts that haunted her so clearly. "Take my hand," I told her. She did. "Now run."

They weren't far ahead, Alice was lagging, still watching for me and Mom and Dad wouldn't get too far ahead of her, or me. I sped up and pulled Bella along with me, not letting go of her hand. Alice kind of stopped when she saw me and turned slightly as I was coming. I grabbed her as I ran and she wrapped her arms around my neck.

"Foolish girl," I hissed. "I told you to run."

"I was running," she said, hugging my neck tight.

And run they do. This story is 7 chapters and is complete it’s a fun paced read that shows you not only the depth of true love but what it can survive as well.

Her hands slid underneath my arms as she rubbed my chest and hugged me from behind, her body pressed against my back as she stood on her toes to whisper in my ear. "Edward, I'm ready to go home."

I gulped, quite audibly. My whole body was tense. My whole body. Her words kept replaying in my head. I'm ready to go home. I can't wait for you to be inside of me. I'm ready to go home. I can't wait for you to be inside of me...

I turned in her arms ever so slowly, and she met me with a smile that would have made an angel cry. "You are so beautiful, Bella," I murmured, brushing my fingers over the cheekbones that stained red at my words.

Summary: AKA The Secret Destruction. FBI Agent Cullen returns to NY to take down the Draconi crime family. But will his return bring more than he bargained for? Or something he never knew he always wanted. Secret missions, love and family secrets abound...and destroy.

Edward is an FBI Agent undercover in New York trying to take down the Draconi crime family. He's been in Romania for two years setting up his cover and only recently returned to NY. Why is that? He's still mourning the loss of his older brother Eric who was killed on 9/11, and also the reason he became an agent. He doesn't have time for a girlfriend, but sees you know who from afar and is enthralled. A series of coincidences bring them together and they turn out to have much more in common than one would have guessed.

But as usual, drama ensues and Bella's past collides with Edward's mission and they are faced with a quandary. Not to mention, Edward is again from a rather prestigious NY family who are of Dutch descent. This ends up being not only a rather inconvenient fact of life, but also plays into his mission. We have intrigue and a who’s behind it run amuck once again and Edward finds himself risking not only his job but his life to protect Bella.

The beautiful Dutch title alone intrigued me as I searched for new stories to read. The translation for The Geheime Vernietiging is "The secret ruining or the secret destruction." This is a mysterious cocktail of sexy secret agent Edward, beautiful, strong Bella and wonderfully textured writing. I was hooked immediately; hooked and have been swooning ever since.

Edward Cullen, a young undercover FBI agent has lived in Romania for the past two years building his covert life. When he finally returns to New York to begin the true task of taking down the Romanian crime family, he meets Bella by chance. Life quickly changes course and purpose. From their first meeting the connection is palpable:

“I looked at him more closely then and realized he was the man with the aviators and the newspaper that Jasper pointed out earlier. The sunglasses were now hooked in his shirt and he had on a Yankees hat covering what appeared to be dark brown, almost black hair. He had a rugged jaw and a strong nose and his lips were full and turned into a crooked grin. His face was scruffy, like he hadn't shaved in a week. I had the sudden urge to trace my fingers over his jaw and let the scruff tickle my…

Trace your fingers over his jaw. What the hell Bella?

I realized I was staring again and he hadn't spoken and I followed his gaze down this time. The ketchup was now set in my dress, right over my left breast.

Shit.

He coughed and shook his head and I realized he still had one hand on my arm. "It's not a problem. I just wanted to make sure you didn't fall." He said in a voice that sent sparks shooting up my spine like they were shot out of a cannon. It was low and smooth like the purr of an engine.

What in the...?

His eyes glanced from me, back to my dress and back up again and I then noticed the heat oozing from his hand through my body, causing a sizzling sensation to skip across my skin and make me so hot that I had the opposite desire to shiver.” Chapter 3

Throughout this incredibly well thought out plot, Amoredjenaue’s writing is vivid, rich and descriptive. Her characterization is so intense, you feel as though you are present in their psyche. You sense the loneliness that Edward has experienced over the last few years, preparing for his secret life, while mourning his brother. Yet, he has a desperate drive to avenge his brother’s death by doing something positive in the world.

Bella, an intern director at the MET, seems inexplicably linked to many of the major players of the same crime family that Edward is infiltrating. She is involved in a newly committed relationship with James. However, Bella is instantly attracted to Edward upon their first official meeting. She quickly begins questioning her decision to move forward with James.

Edward and Bella desperately fight their connection. Edward knows he can’t ask her to wait for him. And Bella knows the danger he could be in if his cover is blown, but their attraction proves to be too much:

"God, I want you, Mijn Zon." He rasped into the kiss.

Then fucking take me? What's holding you back?

"But I am at least going to return the favor." He kissed his way down my body to my center, and my skin was on fire at his touch. I knew this wouldn't take long; I was so completely turned on from pleasuring him that I was sure one touch from his expert fingers would undo me.

Then I felt his hands tug at my panties and lifted. He massaged my calves, my thighs and my hips and pulled me to him.

Oh shit, he's going to taste me. I couldn't remember the last time a man took his time to do that.

I dropped my head back in anticipation and before I knew it his mouth was on me.

"God. Edward!" I cried out as he plunged his tongue into me—licking and simultaneously rubbing my nub. I was moaning at the sensations he was sending through my body, and I gripped his hair and pulled him to me tighter.

He responded by increasing his hold on my hips and plunging his tongue deeper. He alternated between thrusting his tongue and his fingers into me and working my nub. I looked down and saw his head between my legs, pleasuring me with his mouth and another rage of fire shot through my body.

"Oh my God!" I cried out. I was spiraling, faster than a hurricane toward the coast. My legs were shaking, and I gripped his hair ferociously. – Chapter 14

This fantastically complex work in progress is currently at eighteen chapters. It has a seductively eloquent love story weaved through the exciting suspense of true crime mystery. And when Edwards says… “Mijn Zon” or “Mijn Lief” you will be fanning yourself and begging for more. Treat yourself to this addictive, unique delight in story telling.
