A Love Story for the Ages by missrebecca
Review by Marriedmyedward

Rating: T
Genre: Romance/Drama
Characters: Edward/Bella

Summary: Edward was changed in 1918 unaware that his betrothed lay dying in an alley outside the hospital. Every eighteen years she comes back to him, only to die a horrible death. Can they find a way to stop it, before it's too late?

Imagine, you are a month away from marrying the love of your life, in the year 1918, to have your love taken way just as quickly as they appeared. Someone dies, another was dying but survived somehow. Years go by, and that same person that shouldn't be alive is standing right in front of you. What would you do?

He'd convinced himself he had been hallucinating, transferring a latent human memory onto the image of this girl, who just so happened to look like her and share her name. A complete coincidence. But the second time he saw her, he thought for sure he was going mad.

She'd turned up in England, as they were visiting Carlisle's human home. Her hair was long and curled just so beneath her hat, nearly eighteen years after he'd last seen her. She wore a blue dress, with a wide neck to show her glorious collar bones, the same ones he wished he could kiss like before. And she'd smiled, introducing herself.

"Good evening. I'm Bella and you are?"

Now, add the fact that you get a few months again with your love, to only have lost the love of your life once again. Would you continue to let it happen, or would you find a way to stop this cruel cycle from happening? That's the decisions that Edward is left with in this amazing story.

"Do you love me?" she asked, as she lay herself down on the ground, wincing at the pain slicing through her limbs.

"More than anything." He murmured, grasping onto her outstretched hand as though it held all answers to life. He couldn't just let her die. But what could he do, he'd promised himself he wouldn't make her like him, that he wouldn't condemn her to this half life.

"I know what you are, my love." She whispered, coughing blood after she spoke, "Can't I be what you are, and be by your side for forever?"

At her words Edward broke down. His cries echoing off the surrounding trees who were audience to his grief. His mind was shouting at him, telling him she had no idea what she was asking for. But his heart, the heart that had long ago stopped beating, was telling him to do it. To break her skin and pour his venom into her, to save her and to change her. To be selfish.

What does he do you ask? I'm not telling. You have to go read A Love Story For the Ages to find out what happens **wink wink** and enjoy.

This one shot is the Judge’s Pick of the Who Doesn’t Love a Fairytale? Contest.

Imagine being on a plane and you’er sitting next to the girl of your dreams, but don’t have the guts to talk to her. Well that’s what happens to neurologist Edward Cullen. He has it all perfectly planned out in his head, but as we all know, real life doesn’t always pan out the way we hope it too. Then before he knows it, the flight is over and she is walking away from him with a frown on her face. It wasn’t until Edward takes his little sister, Alice, to the grocery store, that he ends up running into “The Princess” as Alice refers to the mystery lady. It’s that meeting that puts things into motion for a whirlwind of events that one can only assume would happen in fairy tales.

After reading this story, I was like, ‘Wow!’ It’s just a great roller coaster of emotions kind of story.

The Peep Hole Chronicles by FFCollab
Review by MarriedMyEdward

Rating: M
Genre: Romance/Humor
Characters: Edward/Bella

Summary: Three boys. Three girls. Two peepholes. One big mis adventure. A Round Robin Collaboration. All human. Rated M.

So, what do you suppose would happen when you take roommates Bella, Rose, and Alice and they just happen to discover that not only do they have new neighbors moving in directly across the hall from their apartment, but they are three VERY good looking neighbors? To be honest, I'm just as much in the dark as you are...lol.

This is a very interesting story because each chapter is updated by a different author every time. So, your guess is as good as mine on how this story is going to play out. That's what makes this story sooo awesome! So far, we have had a meeting of the new neighbors, an unknown wife, a psycho girlfriend, and much, much more and still much, much more to come! Plus, I might be contributing something to this story come September. **wink wink**

I found out about this story because one of my favorite author's Simone and Marie did the second chapter. So, because they were going to write a chapter for it, I got hooked on the first one and then it kind of went from there. The people who started this story are @ImHereToReview and @MandyLeigh010.

Here is a little taste of what you are missing out on...

"Hey dickwads I could use a little help here!" He yelled as I brushed past him. "Oh! Sorry." He peeked around from his boxes and smiled at me. Fuck me into oblivion he was gorgeous.

"Uh…it's okay." I tried to smile but I knew I probably looked like a kid in a candy store.

"My roommates aren't being very helpful with the move." He adjusted the boxes in his arms.

"I think you're moving in across from me." I nodded and glanced at my watch. "Here let me help you."

"No you don't have to do that…" He shook his head, but I reached for the top box anyway.

"It's the neighborly thing to do." I started back up the stairs.

"Well if you ever need a cup of sugar I'd be happy to oblige," he said from behind me.

Review by MarriedMyEdward

Rating: M

Summary: Three friends, a nightclub, a challenge. Edward is led on a wild goose chase as he hunts for the girl who disappeared without a word.

This oneshot is the winner of the Voters Choice for the Who Doesn't Love a Fairytale? Contest.

This story is about three friends who go out for a night on the town looking for some action. These three friends each meet up with a member of the opposite sex and they all go their separate ways. One of these friends had another idea. Not only did they find a member of the opposite sex that they wanted to be with that night, but they decide after all is said and done, that they are going to leave, thinking that they will never see the other person again. This sends the member of the opposite sex on a wild goose chase trying to find the one friend that he spent the night with. The kicker, the member of the opposite sex was given the wrong name!

This story kept me on the edge of my seat wondering will the characters meet up again? What will happen if they do meet up? What then?

Congratulations to WoahNow on your first place win from all of us involved with the Who Doesn't Love a Fairytale? Contest!

Falling Away with You By Shadowed by Passion
Review by Marriedmyedward
*This Story is No Longer Available*

Rating: M
Genre: Romance/Angst
Characters: Bella/Jake and Bella/Edward

Summary: Bella is in a loveless marriage after having a child with a one night stand whos name she never got. Rated M for language, lemons, suggestion of suicide. B/J and B/E HEA

This is another one of those stories that when I saw the title, it caught my eye and pulled me towards it. I'm so glad I chose this story.

The story starts with Bella being so unhappy in her marriage, she is contemplating the worst to get out of it. Then she thinks of her daughter, Lilly, and decides otherwise, knowing that she could never leave her daughter's side. Turns out that Lilly came about by total accident a few years back when Bella had a one night stand with a total stranger. She never got his name or any of his personal info. After all, it was supposed to be a one night stand. A month goes by, and she find out that not only did she get the promotion she was hoping for at work, but she got a personal promotion as well...becoming a mom. Bella was told that she couldn't have, or rather that it would be difficult for her to have children, so imagine her surprise when she found out that indeed, it was possible.

A few more years go by and she meets Jake. They get married and almost a year into her marriage, Bella realizes that she isn't happy and after lunch with her co-worker and fellow best friend, Rose and Rose's friend Alice, Bella finds her salvation and her name is Esme Cullen. This sets the ball rolling and in the process of waiting for their meeting, Bella finds out some things about Jake that sends Bella into a frenzy and knows that now is as good a time as any to get things moving quicker than they have been.

This passage kind of explains a bit how Bella feels about her marriage...

The ideas and possibilities were flying thru my mind so fast. I knew what I wanted, but figuring out how to get it was so hard. I wanted this to be over. I was miserable. I hated my life. As much as I hated being alone and trying to keep myself whole so I could care for Lilly, I hated it even more now that I was with Jake. He was like poison to me. He made me feel like I would never be good enough. He said he loved my faults and the damage my past had done- all of it. But his claim to love was never enough to make me feel that it was true.

I sat up in bed with my head against the headboard, staring at the ceiling. I tried to get my mind off the idea of killing myself as I knew there was a good chance I wouldn't be successful. I let my mind wander to happier times. Sickening as it was, I thought back to the night when my life changed.

This story leaves you guessing, is the mystery man going to come back into her life? Or is she going to meet somebody entirely different that may change her life forever? Hmmm...I think you should go check out Falling Away With You and find out for yourself.

Through Glass by Tianiichan
Review by marriedmyedward

Rating: M
Genre: Romance/Angst
Characters: Edward/Bella

Summary: Bella's loved Jasper since the day she saw him. Only problem? He's loved Alice for that long as well. When she says goodbye to them at their wedding, who will help her over her broken heart? AU/AH/OOC

As I was told what stories needed to be reviewed yet and I looked at the list, Through Glass just jumped right out at me for some reason and I immediately said I would review this story. I blamed it mainly on the fact that I just love that song by Stonesour at first, but the more I read this story, the more I realized, the story chose me (yes I know...as stupid as it sounds but I swear it's true lol).

This story is so different from anything I've read before. Mainly how loving one person all your life can suddenly change by the meeting of another.

The story starts out at a wedding. The wedding of Jasper and Alice. Bella is the maid of honor. Turns out that Bella is in love with Jasper and has been since she met him in high school. Bella feels so heartbroken by the time Jasper and Alice left for the reception, that she gets into a fight with Jasper's sister Rose, and ends up getting a ride home from Emmett, Rose's husband. Bella never makes it to the reception and basically picked up everything she owns and moves out to Jacksonville to be closer to her mom, and to keep her distance from Jasper and Alice, because it hurt too much to see them together.

After a few months down in Jacksonville, Bella decides that she needs to call her best friend and at least tell her why she just suddenly moved away and never showed up at their reception. That phone call would be the start to a chain of events that would change lives forever. Not to mention it would lead to a certain party and the colliding of doors into heads that would make Bella think differently about how her life is going thus far.

This story has not only owned me from the moment I started reading it, but it's also hot! I find that I tend to need to fan myself (or take advantage of the hubby) after reading some of the scenes.

His lips never leave my skin; they travel down the side of my face to my neck, spreading kisses all over the right side, back up to my ear, and then down to my collarbone. His hands creep their way along the outside of my arms and around as he grabs and pulls them up, linking my hands behind his neck. Then sliding his hands back down, he grips my shoulders from behind, pulling me away from him in such a way as to make my back arch. His lips move from my collarbone, skimming across my clothed chest until he reaches the top of my breasts. He bites down gently on the top of my right breast before pulling back and looking into my face.

I'm sure I look a mess; my body is so hot that I'm sure I am covered in red. My hair is probably in knots from having his hands in it, but I can't bring myself to care about any of that or anything else either. The way he's looking at me, I'm sure he won't even have to touch me again to send me flying over the edge.

**Fans self just rereading that passage**

So make sure to go read Through Glass because you won’t regret it. It will have you hooked from the moment you start it and you just won’t want to stop reading it.

Winds of Change by angela4148
Review by Marriedmyedward
*This Story is No Longer Available*

Rating: M
Genre: Romance/Drama
Characters: Edward/Bella

Summary: Written for the 'A Picture Says it All' Contest... Just like the weather, people are unpredictable. The question is whether you should shield yourself from the storm or brave the winds of change.

When I was given this story to read and review, I seriously had no idea what to expect. Once I read the first chapter, I was pretty much hooked! I started this story yesterday morning after my daughter went down for her morning nap. By 1:00 am, I was finished with it.

This story is about Edward and Bella being best friends since high school. Bella happens to fall pretty hard for Edward, but Edward only seems to be “in like” with Bella, not “in love” like she is with him. Ten years go by, they both go to the same college together and live off campus but on opposite sides of the city. While living in the complex where Bella lives, she meets a guy named Paul and decides that she is never going to have “her Edward” so why not start seeing Paul. After a crazy chain of events, Edward finally has an epiphany...but the problem is, he witnesses something that Bella never told him about that makes Edward think that he may be too late.

While Edward and Bella were still in high school, Bella lost her mother suddenly. Things happen a few years after with Bella's father and Edward helps her get through every step of the way. It turns out that Edward is going to be needed for support once again when the same thing happens 5 years later to Bella's father.

This just happens to be one of my favorite scenes with Bella and her father...

"Well then, lets talk it out. Maybe if you talk about it, it would make more sense. I know saying things out loud helps me. Why do you think I talk to myself all the time," he said with a chuckle.

"Ready to put your mom hat on?" I asked. This was our thing, anytime I wanted to talk about something that I would have gone to my mom for, he would suck it up and try to channel what she would say or do. He picked up a pretend hat, blew the dust off, and sat it on his head.

"I wanted to say yes so bad, it was weird. Even after everything we've been through, I wanted to say yes. You know how I told you that I was dating that guy Paul?" He nodded his head and gritted his teeth a little. He didn't like the idea that I was dating someone he didn't know. If it got any more serious I was going to have to introduce them.

My dad raised his eyebrows but kept his mouth shut.

"I just have no clue what to do, Dad. I really like Paul but it's Edward, my Edward. He's my best friend." I hung my head and wanted to cry, but it seemed like I didn't have any more tears left to shed.

"You have to do what makes you happy, baby girl. That's all I can say. I know that Edward has done a ton of stuff to make you cry. At the end of the day, does all the good cancel out the bad and still leave a little extra good to use up?" he asked with raised eyebrows. Leave it my dad to get all deep with me while putting together pressed wood furniture.

All around this story is wonderful. This story made me laugh, cry, and happy all through the story. I can't say it enough, it's an amazing story and you must go read it!

Summary: Most of my pleasure comes from controlling them, not f**king them. Edward Cullen should be no exception to this rule. And yet, I can't stop thinking about him." Will Bella get control over Edward? Will Edward submit to her desires? D/S

After reading the description for this story, I knew it was going to be a dom/sub type story, but wasn't really sure how it would play out. Would it have the feel of Masters of the Universe, having that dark 50 Shades of fucked up feel, or would it be something completely different? Well, now that I've read this story, I can say that it is very different and has an original outlook from other BDSM stories I have read.

The story starts out with a description of Bella and telling us how her life was growing up. She was pretty much a loner in high school and the true Bella doesn't really show until she hits college, when she discovers boys and sex. She always felt like she wanted more or was missing something in life. Then this...

Yes, college had been an extremely eye-opening experience for Bella Swan. She never imagined the sexual freedom to be had on a college campus, and the flagrant willingness of her peers to try new things. Bella had many sexual partners during her college years, but she never found them to be gratifying. Something was always missing.

It wasn't until a rendezvous her senior year that she found what was, perhaps, the missing link. The anonymous lover had spanked Bella and spoke demoralizing words to her during their session. But, it wasn't the fact of Bella being treated in such a manner that spurred her on. No, it was the thought of doing those things to another that lit the flames deep inside her.

So, she finishes her studies majoring in child behavior and ends up having a client named Alice. It turns out that Alice has an older brother that just came back to town and happened to drop her off to her appointment one day. Edward rubbed Bella the wrong way (uh...no pun intended) dropping Alice off that morning and that leads to Bella giving him a nickname. Later that night, Bella goes to a club to see if she can hook up with anybody, which to her surprise and by total accident, runs into Edward, who again, rubs her the wrong way, (this time...pun may be intended) and decides that she would like to teach the RPS (Rude Piece of Shit) a thing or two about woman.

"Edward?" I say, pretending I'm unsure of myself. "Can I ask you something?"

"Sure, baby, whatever you want," he says as he continues to kiss down my neck and moves his hands to my tits.

"I've never done this before…"

What? I haven't. I've never brought someone back here with the sole intention of humiliating them.

"And I kind of wanted to try something."

"Mmmm"

The fucker isn't even listening to me. "Can I… oh gosh, I don't know how to ask this… can we, um… tie each other up?" His head jerks up.

Ahhh, he heard that.

What happens next you ask? Well...I think you should read it and find out! Let’s just say you won’t be disappointed if you do. So go enjoy!

Summary: Long time platonic friends Edward and Bella look to solve their cash-flow problems by making an adult movie together. The two have always been comfortable with each other, but will they be able to keep it friendly when the cameras roll?

So last week, Lori contacts me and asks if I'm interested in writing a review for the blog. I say, “Sure. What’cha got for me?”

“I have this story that is a Twilight/Zack and Miri Make a Porno crossover.”

After asking her who the hell is Zack and Miri and her telling me that it was a movie, then remembering which movie it was, I sat there going to myself, hmm...you had me at porno. So I told her to give me the link and I would read through it.

All I have to say is...HOLY CRAP! I never laughed so hard in my life! I literally had tears in my eyes at one point because I was laughing so hard. Plus, I kept having to g-chat Lori every once in a while with some of my favorite lines from the story or just funny things in general.

Edward and Bella are best friends and they have been best friends since high school. They started living together and have been struggling here and there for cash. So, after Edward finds out that the landlord is going to kick them out next week if they don't come up with the rent, he also finds out that Bella just got fired from her job, which, she was supposed to pay rent that month. In that same week, they end up with no electricity, no water, and no heat. They are so desperate to figure out a way to get money.

It just so happens that it's Bella and Edward's 10 year class reunion. Edward forces Bella along and she ends up running into a classmate's girlfriend that tells Bella what she does for a living. After talking with the girlfriend, Bella starts to get this crazy idea in her head of how they are going to come up with the money and gets Edward, Emmett, and a few others involved in the plot.

Some of the quotes that got me laughing so hard first of all is this...

“Anita Licker Box.”

And this one...

I took her hand in mine, rubbing the back soothingly. "Bella, remember that time I drove you all the way across town so that we could watch that band because you wanted to screw the lead singer?" She nodded sullenly. "Remember me driving all that way so you could try and fuck THE GAY lead singer of that band?" She nodded again, her bottom lip between her teeth. "Well, I think you owe me, and this is me calling in that favor."

"Oh come on! How was I supposed to know he was gay Edward? And anyway, I seem to remember you got some action out of the road trip."

I laughed at the memory. "Okay, One: They were called Queens of the BoneAge, and everyone knows Jacob Black is gay. Two: The "action" I got was from a cross dresser, and it couldn't really even be described as action, seeing as how she just licked my face and told me I tasted like marshmallow peeps.”

So...if what I've said above hasn't convinced you otherwise to read this story, then here is one more tidbit of info for ya...

JASPER IS PACKIN! (take that ANY way you want).

Go check it out. I guarantee that you will love it.

Beautiful Nightmare by Simone and Marie

Summary: It took only one night, one action, for Jasper's world to be shattered. Will Edward and Co be able to pick up the pieces or will newcomer Alice be the one to stop the nightmares? Not your average fairytale. Jasper/Alice A/H Some non canon couples

Before I even start my review I just have to say this...Because of Simone and Marie, I'm now a fanfic hoor!...and I thank them for this lol. It was their story Sex on Fire that got me hooked. Then about halfway through SoF, Simone started a story of her own (with Marie's help of course) called Beautiful Nightmare. This is what brings me here today...

I'm more of a E/B pairing myself, but because Simone and Marie were involved with this story, I had to give it a try. I'm so glad that I did because it's such a wonderful story.

Beautiful Nightmare is a J/A pairing. Jasper has a 2 year old son named Charlie Jackson (CJ) and Jasper is raising him on his own after his wife, Eve, is brutality murdered in their home. This story starts off almost a year after Eve's death and shows the struggles that Jasper is having emotionally over the sudden death of the love of his life. He struggles with the fact that he hasn't really told his 2 year old son that his mommy is never coming back and debates whether he should tell him or not. Also, Jasper is told by his friends that maybe it's time to move on and find somebody else. This upsets Jasper even more as he still has strong feelings for his wife, even in death, and feels like if he gets involved with anybody that he would be cheating on Eve. Around Thanksgiving, Alice shows up in town because her car broke down in front of where Emmett works. Emmett calls Jasper to see if he could look at the car, as he owns a car shop. He sends out Paul, one of his mechanics, to take a look.

It turns out that Paul and Alice get along pretty well and Paul decides that he is going to bring Alice to Thanksgiving dinner the next day, so that Alice wouldn't be alone for the holiday. The same Thanksgiving dinner which Jasper will also be attending. What poor Jasper isn't aware of is that from that moment on, his whole world is going to be turned upside down and he will find himself questioning everything in his life, including his marriage to Eve.

All of the characters involved with this fanfiction are wonderful, but the characters that capture my heart most, well, Jasper for one, but the interaction of a certain little 2 year old and his Uncle Eddie is what totally captures my heart. I find myself giggling away long after I read the update.

CJ nods as he replies, "Okay but Aunt Heidi says he needs to settle down and find a good woman to wash his underwear."

For the second time that night, I choke on my dessert as Edward practically sprays out his soda everywhere in shock,

"Aunt Heidi said this?" he asks CJ while trying to hide the shock in his voice.

"Uh huh to Uncle Em." CJ replies while swirling the ice cream in his bowl.

"Lovely." Edward replies simply while I try to stop laughing like a madman.

Oh boy, I would hate to be Heidi when Edward catches up with her, although I would love to be a fly on the wall for that particular conversation.

"What else did your Aunt Heidi say, bud?" I ask curiously.

"That Uncle Eddie has too many play toys." CJ replies and this time, I cannot hold it in, and I burst out laughing much to Edward's chagrin.

"Play toys huh?" I smirk in Edward's direction.

Edward rolls his eyes as he replies, "You shouldn't listen to everything your Aunt Heidi says, she spends too much time watching Dr. Phil."

I catch Edward's attention and this time mouth 'play toys?' in his direction, even though I really didn't want to know what he did with them, even though I had some kind of idea.

Edward shrugs in my direction before he mutters, "It's not like I bring any around."

"Uncle Eddie can I have some of your play toys, you always tell me to share," CJ asks and I gape open mouthed at him before looking at Edward who has turned a shade of pink.

"Um..." he says.

I jump in to save him. "Er, no buddy, they aren't the type of toys you'd want to play with," I tell him as I wipe the excess ice cream from his face.

"Are they not rated E for everyone like the TV says?'

"No bud, they're rated E for Edward," I say while I try to hide my smirk.

This story is amazing! I can't stress that enough. I find myself going “How would I react in this situation if I lost my husband or if my husband lost me how would he react?” It's just heartbreaking at times but it's like I always say...In order to see the light, you have to go through the darkness first. Trust me...there is much darkness Jasper has to go through but continue on with the story and I promise you won’t regret it.

So read read read peeps and spread the word because Beautiful Nightmare should be read by EVERYONE!
