This fic had me at the summary! Honestly, I found the blog before I found the story and that alone had me hooked! This story is collaboration between AnonyCullen and AnonySwan and once you start reading you won’t want to stop. The blog also has some of the best pic teases I’ve seen in a while!

This is probably one of the hottest fics I have read in a long time. Edward and Bella have no idea who each other is when they first meet, and boy do they *cough* meet…

“Her eyes were closed, her lips were parted, and her breath came in erratic gasps. Her breath was heaven; sweet honey mixed with a few remnants of the aged tequila she had been sipping. Sweat gathered on her skin, sliding our bodies beautifully together, dampening the sheets.” - Chapter 1

On the eve of her divorce from Mike Newton, her high school sweetheart turned high profile television personality; Bella meets Edward at a club where she’s out celebrating with friends. From the get-go Edward is a total asshole, condescending and rude, but what Bella doesn’t know is that he is Miami’s most sought after divorce lawyer… whom her ex has hired. After fleeing his house on the beach she finds out just who Edward Cullen is:

“His gaze burned through me as he realized who I was. For a second, I saw his eyes widen, and then a small smirk appeared out of the corner of his mouth, his lips twitched just a hint. His eyebrow arched slightly as I watched him look me up and down. Unconsciously, I tried to smooth out my clothes and tame my hair.
Fuck. I'm still in the same outfit from last night. And he fucking knows it.” Chapter 2

I will be honest, I love this Edward. He’s a prick, an asshole and he knows it and doesn’t care. He purposely fucks with Bella to get a reaction out of her and assert his status and dominance. He is used to getting exactly what he wants, when he wants it and that includes Bella. For some reason he is drawn to her and no matter how badly he treats her, she can’t seem to stay away.

“I hated every fiber of his being. I loathed his beautifully sculpted face and his tempting lips. The way his body seemed to press perfectly against mine in the water. The way his breath heaved in a disorderly motion pushing his chest lower to mine. The way his hands felt on either side of my head, pinning me to the edge of the tub. I hated him. Fucking hated him. Hated every fucking inch of him.” – Chapter 5

So far, we don’t know much about Edward or his story, we get glimpses behind the exterior shell he shows the world, but they are brief. I certainly can’t wait to find out the rest of his story. The anger, dominance and sexual tension between these two are going to make for some interesting chapters ahead. The supporting characters in this story are wonderful too. Alice is Bella’s fresh out of law school lawyer, taking on the big bad Edward Cullen. I can’t wait for the fireworks in court! So please, head over and read this fic, you won’t be disappointed... I promise! Real life for the authors forced this to be put on hold for a bit, but it’s only five chapters and 2 outtakes in, and I have it on good authority that an update will be coming soon! Fandom for Preemies

Preterm birth is a serious problem affecting children across the world. Every year, over 13 million children are born prematurely. Over 1 million of these children will not survive this year. 1 in 10 of those who do will face life-long health complications and risks directly associated with their preterm birth, including serious complications such as cerebral palsy.

The reality is frightening, but thanks to the work of the March of Dimes, it is not hopeless!

During Prematurity Awareness Month this November, the Fandom for Preemies fundraiser will help raise funds to support the March of Dimes (via the March of Dimes Virtual Band) as they work to eliminate preterm birth and infant mortality across the world. The March of Dimes is the world's largest nonprofit organization for pregnancy and baby health. In 2009 alone, they contributed over 20.3 million dollars to eliminate preterm birth, birth defects and infant mortality across the globe. Many of the strides and medical advancements that have been made in combating preterm birth and prolonging the life of infants born too early have been made in thanks to the work and research of the March of Dimes and its global partners.

As the parents, aunts and siblings of premature infants, we would like to do our part to aid in this fight and would like to encourage you to join us.

We are currently seeking fanfiction authors across the fandom to contribute to this cause. Authors may sign up to contribute outtakes, one-shots or original works of fiction between September 1st, 2010 and October 21st, 2010. What is written is entirely up to the author. Our only request is that contributions not include rape, incest or abuse. All contributions must be emailed to fandomforpreemies@gmail.com on or before October 21st, 2010 for inclusion. Summary: Rising Star Edward Cullen is trapped in a fauxmance he wants to end. While filming a movie, he's drawn to a pair of distracting brown eyes. Within the trials of a new relationship, they discover themselves and each other.

Edward Cullen is having a moment. During that moment he realizes that being one half of the Hollywood golden couple isn’t what it’s cracked up to be, however, the other half of this couple, Rosalie Hale, has different ideas. He is finding it difficult to break free from Rosalie when he meets make-up artist Bella Swan. Can she make him realize that love should come before your career and if she does will the path of true love run smoothly for them?  When I first read the summary I thought ‘OH NO’ not another FamousWard story, however, something told me to take a chance on this one and I am so glad I did because after the first chapter I was hooked! If a vibrator called Emmett does not grab your attention “I had to bring Emmett out last night and you know I prefer you." She pouts as she explains that she prefers me to her vibrator” then the chemistry between Bella/Edward will. “Responding right now would be the normal thing to do, but I'm caught in the depth of her gaze. My heart tightens and I grab my chest. I hear the other one talking, but stay focused on Brown Eyes.”

This story had me laughing out loud, “Cockward is reving to go. Calm down boy, 'not tonight' I say to my penis” going weak at the knees, "Bella Brown Eyes, you made my heart enter a new orbit. I was spinning out of control and you gave me hope of what can be again. The last three days have changed my entire outlook on my life. What was important has changed. I weakly tried, but I can't stay away from you anymore" and getting hot under the collar “My hips start a slow gyrate, without my permission, against his center. His hips respond automatically by moving to meet mine in the middle of our warming bodies. I feel his cock growing in length and girth with each union.”

Susie55 has not only made her main characters lovable and believable but her supporting characters are relatable just as SM’S are. I love the Jasper in this story he is so much more fun loving and easy going than he is normally portrayed. “He grabs me in a headlock and noogies me like we're eight. ”I wouldn't miss pretty boy Ed in action. Lead the way, princess."

Susie uses just the right mix of humour, romance and lemons to make this story an absolute pleasure to read and leaving you wanting more and more each chapter. From the very beginning there are so many directions that these characters could take but it doesn’t take long till they are all on the right path, let’s just hope they stay there!

Summary: A trip to Mexico leaves Carlisle and Edward captured by a Southern coven—and a certain blond-haired vampire. To earn his and Carlisle's freedom, Edward strikes a deal, but what is the mind to the heart? Slash. Ed/Jasper.

This story starts off with the story we know of Carlisle obeying Edward’s dying mother’s wish for the vampire doctor to save her son anyway that he could. Carlisle obeys and we have Edward the newborn vampire. It is only him and Carlisle and Carlisle suggests that they both take a trip to the South to see his old friends. The reason is because Carlisle thinks it may be good for Edward because he knows that he is lonely.

They go to the South and they are attacked by a newborn vampire army. This is where our beloved Jasper comes into the mix.

“Jasper's blond hair hung in his eyes, and yet Edward knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that the vampire was focusing on him, assessing his mood. Edward had the image of a snake testing the air with its tongue.”

Jasper and Maria, the heads of the army, both realize quickly that Edward has a power, so they decide to take him prisoner and hope to put him to good use. Since they want Edward they decide to spare Carlisle as well, but as their prisoner, of course.

If you look at my favorite stories on Fanfiction, they are all Edward and Bella’s stories.
Well that was the case until I got my paws on this little beauty.

I gladly give this story my slash cherry.

The author really delves into what I consider the most interesting part of the vampire world, their powers. I found myself literally get lost in her descriptions of the battles of the different powers and feeling overcome by them. She has an amazing talent of being able to explain the senses.

“He couldn't see. Everything around him seemed to fade. He tried to distinguish sounds around him, the snaking whispers, but there were no words, just a low lullaby, one that was a shadowy, distant like soft light penetrating the many layers of a forest canopy. Then there was the smell; it made him bend forward, sniffing the trail of scent, tingling like hot herbs in his nostrils before blooming into heady sweetness: scents of roses and boxwood and ether.”

This was what I was really able to sink my teeth into because I love how Edward and Jasper use their powers with each other. There is hum that emanates from their first confrontations while Edward is busy trying to figure out what exactly Jasper can do. Edward is confused at first trying to figure out whether Jasper is the enemy because it seems as if Jasper wants to guide him, calm him and keep Edward’s fears at bay. Even though when they first met Jasper tried to kill him and his moods seem to flip at the drop of a dime.

This story is five chapters in and while there hasn’t been a whole lot of slashy goodness yet there is a taste during a fight training session between Edward and Jasper.

Here comes their first little lemon drop;

“At the realization, Edward swallowed down the venom that poured into his throat, and Jasper took that millisecond to nudge his jaw against Edward's, so that Edward's teeth were gone from Jasper's neck, and instead Jasper was pressing into him, his back arching once again, and Edward trembled as Jasper's lips slipped along his temple, pressed, and then Edward gasped, a gasp that sounded so loud, seeming to echo back into him.

Jasper took advantage of his parted lips. His lips mashed, half-fought to pry Edward's farther open , and he groaned when Edward tensed only to relax completely, opening up, letting Jasper glide in. The taste was a shock at first, not sweet like Edward had tasted from Millie but deep, complex and hot with spice. Edward pressed against Jasper when his tongue met the rough, almost sandy press of Jasper's tongue, and he knew he should be careful, but that didn't stop him from searching out the edges of Jasper's teeth.

Their bodies were perfectly aligned. Jasper's leaner body was shivering against his, and the tension. The press and press-back between their lower bodies was going more deliberate. Edward grabbed Jasper's shoulders—held on for dear life—when Jasper rolled his hips up. They both groaned, pushing harder together, starting to rock against the dip in the floor.
Edward had a hand fisted in Jasper's hair and the other pulling on his hip, when Jasper bent to lick his neck”

So hot vamps rolling around fighting and then kind of just falling into making out?
Yeah, count me in.....BUT this story is by no means just a slash story. It has all the elements of good story telling and I can’t wait to see what Maria and Jasper have in store for Edward. It seems as though they may have different motives and I’m dying to see who trumps who.

This was my first stab at slash and Yesternight has me eagerly waiting for more.

If you’re an avid fanfic reader like me then you’ve come across your share of stories where the first chapter has potential and you hope and pray it gets better. Or you recommend a story to a friend with the warning “the first few chapters are shaky but gets really good after chapter….” Sounds familiar?

The opening paragraph of Perchance to Dream instantly captures your imagination for once I felt as if I was really in a vampire’s mind, finally able to view the world through their eyes and then you realize it was all a dream from Bella’s point of view.

In PtD you see Bella lives a self imposed lonely existence only finding solace in her studies, books, and her odd dreams. After her brief encounter with Edward she begins to have dreams about a faceless man whom she dubbed Dream Lover.

Edward abruptly fled from Forks and never returned after Bella’s first day at Forks High. While his family worried about his lack of companionship and isolation, he found peace each day dreaming of being close to his singer Bella.

What I loved about this fic was the way the writers Fantasy Mother & Lilliput was able to make the dream sequence and reality blend almost feeling tipsy without taking a drink.

I wove my fingers into his hair and pulled slightly, tilting his head back. I put my lips to his ear and said in an almost growl, "Damn it, why can't you be here?" He moaned and moved upward. Yes. Here.

"I'm right here, love," he said as he wrapped one arm tightly around my waist and moved a hand up to my shoulder, pulling me down to him.

A sob escaped my throat. "But you're not," I choked. "You're not really here. I want you here. With me."

Can you feel the intensity? I have to say it’s been a long time since I’ve found a story that depicts the strong connection between Bella and Edward both on a mental and physical level. And if you’re not into WIP, you’re in luck because Perchance to Dream is completed. So you can enjoy all the naughty goodness in one shot!
